    PROMASEAL BULKHEAD SEALER

    APPLICATION
    BULKHEAD Sealer System consists of mineral fiber panels coated with bulkhead sealer. The
    System will seal the penetrations and openings in a fire situation and prevents the passage of fire.
    BULKHEAD Sealer System has been successfully tested in wall and floor construction for up to
    4 hours. Tests were carried out to AS 1530 : Part 4 : 1997 and BS 476 : Part 20 : 1987 and
    achieved a fire resistance level of - / 240 / 120 on the un-penetrated system. Insulation criteria
    will vary if measured on service penetrations.

    SPESIFICATION
    Neutral Designation : COATING on mineral fibre.
    Composition : ACRYLIC Polymers < 20 %, Mineral fillers < 62 %,
    Water < 18 %.
    Density : 1200 kg / m3.
    pH ( 10 % sol ) : 5 in 1 % solution.
    Combustibility : Non-combustible in accordance with DIN 4102 and BS
    476 : part 4 : 1970.
    Spread of flame : Surface spread of flame class 1 to BS 476 : part 7 and
    AS 1530 : part 3.
    Building regulation : Class 0 according to BS 476 : part 6.
    Colour : grey, beige, white or blue.
    Toxicity : Non – toxic.
    Permeability : impermeable to water and oil.
    Other : No smoke production in case of fire. Release
    chemically bound water to cool the bulkhead and cables
    during the fire. FREE of SOLVENTS.
    Surface condition : Slighlty rough.
    Advantages : Simple installation without special tools, lightweight,
    Economical, Non corosive, Non mechanical fixing, Suitable for horizontal, vertical,
    or any shape and in any potition openings. Easily repenetrated, Excellent sound
    attenuation.

    APPLICATION
    A Fire resistant, light weight cement sipplied as a pre- mixed dry powder for mixing on site with
    water. Used as penetration seals to prevent the spread of fire where pipes, ducts and cable tray
    penetrate fire rated elements thuts maintaining the fire resistance level ( FRL ) of the element.
    Promastop Mortar has been successfully tested and assessed wall and floor construction for fire
    rating up to 4 hours. Tests were carried out to BS 476 part 20 : 1987, AS 1530 : part 44, AS
    4072 : part 1, prEN 1366 : part 3 : 1999. insulation criteria will vary if measured on service
    penetrations.

    SPESIFICATION
    Neutral Designation : CALCIUM SILICATE.
    Composition : PORTLAND cement < 20 %, Silica / Alumina filler
    ( lightweight ) < 62 %, Cellulose thickener – minor, wetting
    agent – minor, gypsum – minor. < 18 %.
    Density : 730 kg / m3.
    pH ( 10 % sol ) : 10 in 1 % solution.
    Combustibility : Non-combustible in accordance with BS 476 : Part 4 : 1970.
    Spread of flame : Surface spread of flame class 1 to BS 476 : part 7 and AS 1530 :
    part 3.
    Building regulation : Class 0 according to BS 476 : part 6.
    Thermal Conductivity : approx. 0,127 M/m.k + 10 %.
    Toxicity : Non – toxic.
    Commpresive Streght : 0.7 to 1.6 MPa.
    Load bearing : 40 mm thick unreinforced, supported 7.56 KN.
    Mixing Composition : 2 litres of powder with 1 litre of water = approximately 1.66
    litre of mix.
    Initial set : 60 minutes.
    Finish : Monolithic, Slightly smooth.
    Other : No smoke production in case of fire. Simple installation without
    special tools.
    Appearance : Light beige or white mixed og smooth coarse particles.
