The “I can’t Breathe” phrase by George Floyd that people protests over white and black man.

The
consonance of the phrase with the very root of our pandemic fears is uncanny. This phrase linked the
coronavirus with the ubiquitous and implacable nature of institutional racism. People prepare to risk
their life being afflicted with coronavirus just so they could express their protest of George Floyd’s
death. There is a huge gap between white and black people living in America or racism between black
and white. Some black women worked as domestic worker while others having white-collar jobs. Most
white families move out when they found out that their neighbors are black. Some students were
bullied because they are black. In other words, white people discriminate black people, now people are
protesting due to George Floyd’s death. I totally agree to the people that express their feelings for the
reason that they seek justice in this case, people seen how police are discriminating black people,
accusing them for no good. Everyone is equal, no matter what your skin color, where you from, we have
the rights and independence to speak. I may not be part of the black family but I support black lives
matter.

What I have Learned:

After doing all the activities in this module, I learned that taking a stand on relevant issues is it helps you
build your self-confidence as well as it helps you to develop a strong sense of self. It also develops self-
respect to the people around you that build up your integrity and make you more independent.

I realized that I need to improve my analysis on how to make a proper stand in every issue that I’ve read.
I also need to improve my reading comprehension for me to have broad ideas to answer all the
questions in this module. Lastly I need to improve more on my English grammar for me to have a good
and proper stand in every issue that I encountered.

For me, the most difficult part of the lesson is to recognize which statement is agree or disagree as well
as recognizing each statement whether it is a fact or an opinion. For me I also found a little difficult
when making stands for the reason that, I don’t have any ideas at first; however, after reading the
module I can understand and answer well.

I believe writing a bibliography is important because it gives credit to the authors whose work you’ve
consulted in your research. It also makes it easy for a reader to find out more about the topic your
delving into the research that you used to write your paper. Lastly to educate your reader on how
broadly you explored the subject on which you’re composing.
