2. INTRODUCTION

Followthe instructionsbelowwhenoperatingthe pump.

(2) Completelyremoveforeignmattersfrom pipingand system

(3) Do not keepthe pumprunningwithdischarge

of bends,and avoidinstallingthe bendscloseto the pumpsuctionport.

anyair-pocket
fromthe piping.

(13)Weldsof pipingshallbe examinedby the liquidpenetranttest to ensureno

leakageexists.

(14) Keepthe pumpfree from undesirable


forcessuch as weightof piping,thermal

stressesof pipeline,off-centerbetweenthe pump and the piping,etc., which

shouldadverselyaffectthe pump.

('15)Attachsupportsto the pumpto fix

(16) Confirmationof rotatingdirectionmust be done prior to piping. Rotatethe

impellerwith a handto makesurethatthe rotorassemblyrotatessmoothly.

they are. lf anythingwrong,unscrewthe Set Screw(48) to replacethe failed

part(s)with newone.
