Answer the following questions:
a. Enumerate at least three(3) of the most recent songs you have
listened. Where did they originate? Identify the nationality of the writer and/or artist for each music.
1. My Way by “Frank Sinatra”
WHERE DID THEY ORIGINATE?
This originated as the French song called "Comme D'Habitude" (translation: "As Usual"), written by the composers Jacques Revaux and Gilles Thibault. They took it to the French pop star Claude Francois, who tweaked it a bit (earning a co-writer credit) and recorded the song in 1967, where it was a hit in parts of Europe. The French version tells the story of a man, living out the end of his marriage, love killed by the boredom of everyday life. NATIONALITY OF THE WRITER- Paul Albert Anka OC is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and actor he is a Syrian. ARTIST- This became Frank Sinatra's signature song, but he couldn't stand it, saying he "loathed" the song. In his later years, he described the song as "a Paul Anka pop hit which became a kind of national anthem. Some of the many artists to record this song include Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, Dionne Warwick, and Andy Williams
2. Close to You by “The Carpenters”
WHERE DID THEY ORIGINATE?
- Close to You" was the first Burt Bacharach/Hal
David composition the Carpenters covered. The song was recorded time and time again during the sixties, but didn't do well at all until the Carpenters version. It became Richard and Karen Carpenter's first RIAA-certified Gold single, as well as their first Billboard Hot 100 single that reached the Top 10. It stayed at number 1 for 4 weeks, and became the Carpenters' iconic song.

Bacharach (born May 12, 1928, Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.), American songwriter and pianist) and Hal David (was an American lyricist. He grew up in New York City.)

- The most well-known version is that recorded by American
duo The Carpenters for their second studio album Close to You (1970) and produced by Jack Daugherty.
3. Stuck on You “Lionel Richie”
WHERE DID THEY ORIGINATE?
- Originally recorded by Lionel Richie it was the fourth single released from his second studio album Can't Slow Down released on May 1, 1984, by Motown, and achieved chart success, particularly in the U.S. and the UK, where it peaked at number three and number 12, respectively. NATIONALITY OF THE WRITER - Lionel Richie was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. His family is of African American, Cherokee Native American, English, French-Canadian and Scottish descent. ARTIST - In 2003, "Stuck on You" was covered by American band 3T. It was the first single from the band's second studio album Identity, on which the song also appears in a remixed version called 'Smooth Mix' (also available on the CD maxi). Released in summer 2003, it achieved success in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, where it was a top ten hit.

ANSWER: A gadget is a mechanical or electronic device that has a
practical use but is often thought of as a novelty. The distinction between a machine and a gadget is that a machine is not a novelty. A device is a piece of equipment or a mechanism designed to serve a special purpose or perform a special function.
- The mobile device brand that I use is OPPO, an electronics
manufacturer based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Its major product lines include MP3 players, portable Media players, LCD-TVs, e-books, DVD/Blu-ray Disc players, and mobile phones. d. How did you access this music? Did you purchase them online or listen to them through YouTube, Spotify, and other music channels?
- I use the app YouTube and Spotify to access the music that I want to listen and Yes, and I use them through mobile internet.
