1. Pursuant to the R.A no. 9155 -act instituting a framework of governance for basic education,
and DepEd D.O 44, s. 2015 guidelines on enhanced school improvement planning (SIP) Process
and School Report Card (SRC), District Continuous Improvement will celebrate another
opportunity of conducting the 2020-2021 Virtual District CI Summit on October 7, 2021 from
8:00 – 5:00 in the afternoon.

2. Despite the challenging times of Covid-19 pandemic that each one faces, the DepEd Division of
Davao City in Tibungco District chooses to continue its initiatives in strengthening the culture of
CI Research through 2021 Virtual District CI Summit with a theme, “Continuous Improvement:
Resilience Amidst Covid-19 in Delivering Access, Quality and Governance in Improving Learning
Outcomes”.

3. All CI Team and administrators are directed to support on the foregoing activities relative to the
CI Presentation as indicated in the given attachment for the said District CI Summit general
rules:

a. Criteria for BEST CI PRESENTATION;


b. Criteria for Best CI Project Presenter;
c. Criteria for Best CI Project Implementor;
d. Schedule and assignment of each District CI Summit Committee;
e. Guidelines on 2020-2021 Virtual District CI Summit, and
f. List of CI Teams per school.

4. All CI Presentation must have accomplished their submission of deliverables 3 days before
enjoining themselves to such activity. Non-compliance of such is very much discouraged to
ensure uniformity among all CI Presenters.

Guidelines of Virtual CI Summit 2020-2021
1. CI Project Presentation

1.1 Presentation of each school participant will be in a pre-recorded video version


minimum of 5 minutes and maximum of 10 minutes with the zest of the following
contents:

a. Introduction of the CI Project with CI Team


b. Concise Rationale, Background why the study was conducted
c. Affinity Diagram, Validation with data
d. SIPOC/ Storm clouds
e. Why-why diagram focusing on the repeated root causes
f. Process before and after
g. Implementation Plan with evidence
h. Pilot Testing and Roll-out
i. Result, Efficacy of CI Project with short testimony of participants of the study

1.2 There will be winners for Best CI Project Presentation, Best CI Project Presenter, and Best CI
Project Implementor which are indicated in the criteria attached for proper guidelines.

1.3 Invited CI Pioneers shall serve as expert judges.

1.4 School Principals/ District Supervisor shall serve as reactors after each CI Video
Presentations. Commendation and suggestions are highly encouraged.

1.5 Submission of the video will be 5 days before the CI summit. Any video app is acceptable.

1.6 It is encouraged that all school CI Team will be in the same venue during the open forum
which will take place after the video presentation. IATF protocol of social distancing and
wearing of mask and face shield should always take place.

1.7 Ensure high speed connection with proper and clear camera and audio connection during
the summit proper ready for the open forum.

2.CI Project Milestone


2.1 Submit CI team pictures from the start of the project to the finalization of roll-out for the
creation of video CI Project Milestone. You may send it to the google drive created for the CI Tibungco.

2.2 CI Team APJES is assigned to make the CI Project Milestone and to be submitted 2 days
before the actual summit.

3.Submission of CI Project Softcopy in PPT

3.1 Electronic copy of your completed CI project in PPT with school policy should be submitted
in this format file name:

4.The official link of the virtual summit will be posted in the FB page of Tibungco District.

4. Virtual CI Committees list is also enjoined for proper dissemination and guidance.
