National Dental Health Month 2022

Theme: Brushing is a Must, Kahit naka Mask
School Activities
Objectives:
1. To ensure the maintenance of good oral health of the learners amidst pandemic;
2. To strengthen public awareness on the importance of good oral health;
3. To deliver information on improving the oral health condition and nutrition of all the
learners; and
4. To demonstrate the proper brushing technique.
Activities:
A. Posting of National Dental Health Tarpaulin in the school. Target Date: February 2, 2022
B. Slogan Contest open for GRADE 11 and GRADE 12 Students. Adviser are required to
have an elimination round top 5 winners will be their representative per section.
Theme: Brushing is a Must, Kahit naka Mask!
1. The participants shall illustrate their slogan on an Oslo paper.
2. The slogan shall not exceed 25 words. Background design/drawing is allowed but not to
overpower the slogan.
3. The slogan must be original. Filipino or English language may be used to interpret the
theme.
4. Slogan entries of each section shall be submitted on February 18, 2022, 3pm.
5.Entries shall be uploaded to the DENTAL HEALTH MONTH ENTRIES. Using the
following format: GRADE/SECTION_SLOGAN (e.g. STEM12MARCONI_SLOGAN).
And submit the original copy to your adviser.
6. Criteria for judging:
A. Relevance to the theme 40%
B. Creativity 20%
C. Originality 20%
D. Impact of presentation (Like and Share) 20%

TOTAL 100%
C. Poster Making Contest open for Grade 11 and Grade 12 Students. Adviser are required to
have an elimination round top 5 winners will be their representative per section.
1. The poster must be an original work and must be done on an Oslo paper.
2. Participants are free to use any variety of art and coloring materials to express their
thoughts. They are encouraged to use materials that are readily available in their respective
households.
3. Poster must be done freehand.
4. Poster entries of each section shall be submitted on February 18, 2022, 3pm.
5. Entries shall be uploaded to the DENTAL HEALTH MONTH ENTRIES. Using the
following format: GRADE/SECTION_POSTER (e.g. STEM12MARCONI_POSTER). And
submit the original copy to your adviser.
6. Criteria for judging:
A. Creativity and presentation 30%
B. Originality 30%
C. Relevance to the theme 30%
D. Audience engagement (likes and shares) 10%

D. Brochure Making Contest open for Grade 11 and Grade 12 Online Students. Adviser are
required to have an elimination round top 5 winners will be their representative per section.
Theme: Importance of Oral Health Care during this Pandemic
1. The brochure making contest is a group contest. Each group consist of 4 members.
2. They'll need to work together and brainstorm ideas for what they'll put in their brochure.
Google Meet or any other platform can be used for collaboration. Members of the group are
not permitted to see each other in person.
3. Canva and other online software application are allowed to use in making the brochure.
4. It should be a 3 folded brochure.

5. Brochure entries shall be submitted on February 18, 2022, 3pm.
following format: GRADE/SECTION_BROCHURE
(e.g.STEM12MARCONI_BROCHURE) . And submit the original copy to your adviser.
7. Criteria for Judging:
A. Attractiveness and Organization 30%
B. Graphics and Pictures 30%
C. Writing- Grammar 30%
D. Sources 10%
TOTAL 100%
E. Titktok Challenge. Group Contest. Open for Grade 11 and Grade 12 Students. Adviser are
required to have an elimination round top 5 winners will be their representative per section.
1. Participants are required to perform solo and it should be collated as one tiktok video.
Performing together with the group are prohibited.
2. It can be a dance, song, public service announcement or infomercial.
3. Maximum video length is 1.5 minutes. Any song/s appropriate to the theme may serve as
background. Performers may use text as well as props.
4. Entries shall be submitted on February 18, 2022, 3pm.
following format: GRADE/SECTION_TIKTOKCHALLENGE (e.g.
STEM12MARCONI_TIKTOKCHALLENGE)
6. Criteria for Judging:

A. Relevance to the theme 30%
b. Content (toothbrushing) 40%
c. Artistry, creativity, originality and entertainment value 20%
d. Video engagement (like and share) 10%
TOTAL 100%
