    After watching, write a reflection paper using the following prompts:


    1. What is the impact of globalization on how people communicate? Is this something positive or negative?

    According to the video that Sherry Turkle shared with us is that we ourselves are greatly impacted by
    technologies. Now technologies go with the flow of how a globalization process itself onwards. Since
    globalization improves through out these years global communication is also affected by it. Through these new
    innovation of technologies people can communicate “but” there would be pros and cons. Yes, there would be
    pros, and cons because as we develop our technologies to higher version people tend to focus more on the easiest
    way to communicate where in there would be less hassle. The good thing about this type of communication is
    that it helps to increase business opportunities, remove cultural barriers and develop a global village. Both
    globalization and global communication have changed the environmental, cultural, political and economic
    elements of the world.
    On the other hand, the people who belong to the introvert group will not likely improve their limits instead
    they will lose more confidence to create relationship to other people. It also makes the communication skills of a
    person poor instead of improving it they would likely focus on their phones and other media technologies.

    2. How technology contributed to establishing camaraderie or division in humanity?

    As time pass by technology affects human life. For example, big media companies like Facebook (FB),
    Twitter, Instagram, etc. will make a single human change its personality it can be in in a good way or the
    negative way. We all know that these media can be our motivation in living through life or it can also end a
    person’s life, but if these media are used in good hands people will be disciplined and it can lessen those people
    who use media in an offensive way. These media can spread fake news and misinformation that can immediately
    spread worldwide because of how internet works it can literally change a person in a split second on how would
    he/she deal with the content that was posted.
    As we all know its was mentioned in the video that to avoid this kind of misinformation, we have the
    “Internet Etiquette. These are the proper ways of how internet should be used. For us users of internet and media
    to be secure and safe in terms of our personal information to be leaked.
    Technology contributed in many ways. Well, it depends on what type of technology is being referred to,
    it can be printing press, etc. Smartphones, computers, and the internet are revolutionary technologies, these are
    the major technology that is used by the humans. As we all know a small technology which is called Smartphone
    can be used in different varieties it has its camera, recording, cloud save etc. As we expected this type of
    technology really helped human kind through its globalization. As long as there are innovators and inventors
    technology will not die, it will only improve.
