• Coordinate and facilitate recruitment, admissions and enrollment processes for University
Schools including the Porter-Leath/UofM Early Childhood Academy, Early Learning & Research
Center, Campus School and University Middle.
• Maintain recruit material updates and website entries, admission and enrollment records, and
listserv data
• Participate in recruitment fairs, information sessions, and answer communications related to
admissions and enrollment.
• Manage enrollment in PowerSchool and other database tools used by University Schools.
• Communicate with school staff, administrators, parents and outside agencies to exchange
information, coordinate activities and resolve issues, concerns and questions regarding SIS data
and directives.
• Responsible for the record keeping and data management of student records and faculty/staff
personnel files.
• Facilitate data integration across each University School and partners including but not limited to:
Porter-Leath, The Harwood Center.
• Support record keeping and communication for University sponsored summer programs for
minors.
• Implement enrollment reconciliation processes and reporting mechanisms to maintain accurate
student enrollment throughout the academic year and monitor data accuracy.

• Trains and supervises office staff; ensures tasks are assigned and completed; evaluates
performance and recommends hiring, discipline, and related matters for student/graduate assistant

• Supervises daily financial matters in the department for four distinct departmental budgets,

travel functions; prepare current and base budget adjustments; compile data to generate financial
reports used to assist Associate Dean in forecasting and decision-making for three programmatic
areas; monitor all accounts and expenditures for the department; review and approve invoices.
• Produces, processes, and monitors performance and other contracts and all accompanying
documentation for nearly 100 contractual agreements per year; tracks routing of contracts;
processes payment for contracts; communicates directly with contracted vendors to ensure receipt
of all necessary documentation and signatures.
• Maintains supervisor’s calendar and schedule; makes appointments and travel arrangements
including student travel; plans and arranges conferences and special events by ensuring that any
necessary rental/reservation and catering arrangements are made.
• Reads and reviews incoming mail; distributes incoming mail to appropriate person; processes
incoming forms and paperwork; recommends and drafts responses, where appropriate; drafts
correspondence on behalf of supervisor and/or composes and forwards memos and letters to
appropriate individuals. Sends and receives departmental e-mail, including responses to requests
sent by e-mail; copies and collates materials for use in reports and presentations and/or
distribution

• Coordinated large events for groups of various sizes such as birthday parties, corporate events, and
group reservations;
