Lesson 2:
Post-

Reflect on what I
learned:

In this second module, I had first learned about the

importance of exercise in maintaining our health and boosting our
confidence. In fact, doing it in a regular basis accompanied by
improving one skill during practice, will help us achieve a
coordinated body movement while playing the sport volleyball. I
learned about the basic skills in volleyball which is a very essential
information one needs to know if they want to play the sport. The
topic about volleyball was I think we already taken when we were
senior high school but this lesson helps me understand it more in
a simple terms and recall some of the basic skills. I learned that in
block, there is a called “roof” offensive block and “soft” defensive
block. I am glad that I am learning new terms that is used in
volleyball. This lesson also made me familiarize about different
contacts; the first, second and third contact. I gained knowledge
about the different attacking techniques and recall some
knowledge on two specific techniques of passing. It is as well
funny and interesting that the “dive” is also known as “pancake”
which I haven’t known until now. This lesson is a very informative
one regarding the basic skills and exercises that made me feel
more interested in volleyball.
