Peanut Salad: How To Make Sprouts Salad

• 1 Cup leafy sprouts 

• 1 Cup bean sprouts 


• 1 Cup grain sprouts 
• 1/2 tsp Olive oil 
• 1 tsp Vinegar

How to make Sprouts Salad:


• Mix all the sprouts in a bowl.
• Add oil and vinegar and toss.
• Sprouts Salad is ready.

Peanut salad

Ingredients
1 cup bean sprouts
1 cup peanuts, shelled, boiled
1 large onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 cup soft tofu or paneer diced
1 tbsp. Coriander leaves finely chopped
1/2 bunch fresh fenugreek leaves (no stalks), chopped
1/2 lemon juice extracted
1 tsp. Sugar ground
1/2 tsp. Cumin seeds crushed
1/2 tsp. Chat masala
1/2 tsp. Red chilli powder
2-3 pinches black salt
salt to taste

Method
Put sprouts in boiling water for 2 minutes.
Drain, pour iced water, drain, spread on kitchen cloth.
Transfer to bowl, when excess moisture is absorbed.
Add all other ingredients, chill to serve.

Salad

Ingredients
Sprouts - 1 cup
Onion - 1/2(Chopped)
Tomato - 1(Chopped)
Green Chilly - 1 (Minced)
Lemon - 1/2
Salt - to taste
Cilantro - handful (chopped)
Mint leaves - 2-3(finely chopped)

Method
1. Mix the onions, tomato,green chilly, sprouts, chopped mint and cilantro.
2. Add few drops of lemon juice to it with little salt. 
3. Mix everything nicely and serve as a healthy snack.

Tips
- For a sweeter version, skip the green chilly and add a tblsp of honey instead.

Salad:

You need:
1 cup of mixed sprouts( I have used moong sprouts and channa dal sprouts)
1 serano pepper slit ( or use a regular green chilly)
1tbsp lime juice
1tbsp grated fresh coconut
a pinch of jeera powder
To season:
1tsp oil, 1tsp mustard seeds, 1/2tsp urad dal, 1/2 tsp channa dal, a pinch of turmeric
In a pan, prepare the seasoning and when this cools, add the fresh sprouts, coconut, lime juice and
jeera powder and toss well till it is well coated. Serve this with other veggies or eat as is..

To sprout: Soak moong dal, whole channa dal overnight with clean water. In the morning, drain and
place this in a dark vessel. Cover this with a wet tissue paper or wet muslin cloth. Keep it in a dark
warm place for atleast 10hrs. Refrigerate the sprouts and use as needed.

MOONG SPROUTS

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh moong sprouts( I used 1/2 cup moong and 1/2 cup matki/moth sprouts) 
1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber 
1/4 cup sweet pomegranate kernels 
1/4 cup finely chopped/grated carrot 
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes 
2 tbsp finely chopped onions 
2 tbsp finely chopped raw mango pieces 
1 tbsp chopped walnuts 
1 tbsp chopped dried apricots or dates or raisins 
1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander

for the dressing:


3-4 finely chopped/minced green chillies
1/2 tsp grated ginger(optional)
1/4 tsp chat masala 
generous drizzle of lemon juice 
few drops of honey(optional)
salt to taste

Method:

Take a wide deep bowl and add the sprouts,carrot,raw mango,tomato,onion,cucumber pieces and mix
well.Add chopped walnuts,apricots,coriander and mix well.For the dressing take a small bowl and squeeze in
the juice of one lemon and add salt,3-4 drops of honey,chat masala and mix well.Add grated ginger and
minced green chillies and mix well.Add the dressing to the sprouts mix and mix well.Serve it fresh or keep it
in refrigerator for 15 mins and serve cold.
POMEGRANATE & MOONG SPROUTS SALAD

1 cup – moong sprouts


A few cucumber slices
For honey and ginger dressing:-
1 inch piece greated ginger
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 tab sp lemon juice
1 tab sp – olive oil
1 tab sp honey
Pepper and salt to taste
Combine all dressing ingredients in a small bottle shake well to mix all ingredients together
Mix moong sprouts and pomegranate seeds in a bowl and pour the dressing over it combine well together
and serve chill
You can add other fruits like orange apple and vegetables like cucumber and bell peppers

FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SALAD

Apple – 1
Pine apple pieces -1/2 cup
Green apple – 1
Banana- 1
Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup
Carrot – 1
Cucumber- 1
Cut all fruits and vegetables in to small bite size pieces you can use any other fruits like grapes, pears,
mangoes, papaya even orange also
For dressing whisk to gather in a big bowl
1/4 cup – low fat mayonnaise
1tab sp – mustard powder
1tab sp – lemon juice
1tab sp – honey
Crushed walnuts – 1tab sp
Raisins – 10-15
Cinnamon powder – a pinch
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste

Metod:

Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl make sure they combine very well then add fruit and vegetable pieces
mix gently add crushed walnuts and raisins mix well once again sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon powder on
top and serve chilled
Instead of using mayonnaise you can use cream
Or you can use a mixture same proportions of cream, cheese, and yoghurt mix well and use in the place
of mayonnaise you can use this mixture as a egg less mayonnaise

Moong Dal /Green Gram Sprouts with Carroot

Sprouted moong gram -1 cup


Carrots -2 grated
Capsicums- 1 finely chopped
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Ginger - finely chopped - 1 tsp
Chillies -1 small finely chopped
Roasted cumin seeds/jeera powder -1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder -1/4 tsp or less

Method

Mix everything together in a bowl. Add lemon juice and salt to taste.

Heat a tsp of oil, add 1/2 tsp of mustard,when mustard splutters, pour it over the salad and mix it.
(optional)

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Simple Plain Moong Salad

Sprouted Moong -1 cup


Ginger - 1 tbsp finely chopped
Chillie -1 finely chopped

For the seasoning 

Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp


Jeera/cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp

Method 

Heat a tsp of oil and add mustard and cumin seed .When they sizzle, add ginger and finely chopped green
chillies, saute for a seconds and pour it over the sprouted green gram.

Add lemon juice and salt to taste and mix it well.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy your way to better health.


Sprouts salad

Ingredients:

Beans :400grms

Sprouts:1cup

Vinegar:1 teen spoon

Groundnut oil: 1 teen spoon

Tomato:2

Lemon juice , sugar, salt for taste

Method:

Cut the beans into long thin slices. Chop the tomatoes into small cubes. put a pan on the flame. Add
little water and let it heat. Now add the beans and boil for few minutes.

Next boil the sprouts and keep aside in a plate. Put the oil,vinegar,lemon juices,sugar,salt,tomatoes and
blackpepper powder in a big bowl and mix them together. Add the beans and sprouts and blend
once again nicely.

The sprouts salad is ready to served.
