Erin: Ok. Well, how about shopping? I know a great store…
Carlos: Well, I’ve already been to so many stores. I can’t buy any more clothes.
Erin: I know what! I bet you haven’t visited the Kennedy Space Center. It’s an hour away.
Carlos: Actually, I’ve already been to the Space Center and met an astronaut!
Erin: Wow! You’ve done a lot. Well, is there anything you want to do?
Carlos: You know, I really just want to take it easy today. My feet are killing me!

USE OF THE PRESENT PERFECT:

Unfinished Actions
We use this tense when we want to talk about unfinished actions or states or habits that started in the past
and continue to the present. Usually, we use it to say 'how long' and we need 'since' or 'for’. Examples:

§ I have known Karen since 1994.


§ I have known Karen for 27 years.
§ She has lived in London since 2018.
§ She has lived in London for three years.
§ I have worked here since May.
§ I have worked here for six months.
