DISCUSSION
2.1 Email and Common mail

Mail is a physical mean of sending letters, including photos, content letters or

parcels of various items.

Email is electronic mail sent through the Internet. It is sent to official or on

personal email address, that can be accessed by the particular individual anywhere

and everywhere. Emails are being trending over mails because they’re easy to send

and hold less time consumption. But receiving a mail has its own charm, not to forget.

A. The differentiation between an email and a postal mail

Email is a derived term of mail. As nouns the difference between email and

mail is that email is a raised or embossed image pressed into metal, such as a seal

pressed into a foil and attached to a document or email can be (e-mail) while mail

is or mail can be (uncountable) armour consisting of metal rings or plates linked

together or mail can be (chiefly|scotland) a monetary payment or tribute.

As verbs the difference between email and mail is that email is (e-mail) while

mail is to send (a letter, parcel, etc) through the mail or mail can be to arm with

mail. An email was proposed to imitate various pieces of postal mail. Electronic

(in this way the letter "e") mail is a way to deal with establish a connection with a

recipient, as is postal (or snail) mail. The two sorts of messages are commonly

returned to the sender if the end address.

The qualification among Mail and Post. Right when used as things, mail infers

a sack or wallet, however, post strategies a long dowel or board distending

beginning from the soonest stage. Right when used as activity words, mail means

to send (a letter, bundle, etc) through the mail, while present strategies on hang (a

warning) in an undeniable path for general review.

2) Need Mail: Anything mailable, charges, sales, singular correspondence,

stock.

3) Best in class Mail: Anything mailable, charges, sales, singular

Ones a genuine letter. A mail piece that is masterminded by an encoding

machine or by a genuine postal agent chooses to dispatch courses by methods for

zone improvement plans. Additionally, the other is electronic. Where messages

are sent using the web has like hurray or google mail that goes probably as a

virtual courier to pass on those messages into your web email address.

In early America, mail focuses were generally called "stations". This term

and "post house" tumbled from use as horse and coach organization was replaced

by railways, planes, and vehicles. Today, the articulation "Mailing station" for the

most part suggests government postal workplaces giving customer help.

When talking about Mail, one can mean the letters one receive, yes letters

printed or written on actual paper! E-Mails however are sent electronically from

one mail server to another, usually over IP.

2.2 The Advantages and Disadvantages of Email

A. Advantages

There are numerous advantages to email. It is personal and easy to use. It can

be used both within and between companies, and is an effective way to

communicate quickly and easily with people all over the world. It is especially

useful for short messages and for everyday correspondence, setting up a meeting ,
passing on information, and making or replying to a request. You can pick up your

email messages, even when you are travelling, via a laptop. With compatible

systems, you can access text and graphic documents, and spread sheets and

whatever you send or receive can be quickly and easily filed.

B. Disadvantages

The disadvantages of email include technical problems which may result in

the unexpected non-delivery of messages or attachments arriving in unreadable

form. A non-technical disadvantage is that, paradoxically, the ease with which

messages can be sent results in large amounts of 'junk' and unnecessary

communication, which waste time.

As with faxes, a major drawback is the lack of privacy and security. Do not

use email to communicate confidential information. It is sometimes said that an

email message is like a postcard - anyone can read what you have written.

However, digital signing and encryption (coding data, so that it can only be read

by authorized users which both work along similar lines, make email more secure.

2.3 The Advantages and Disadvantages of Common Mail

A. Here are the advantages of the letter are as follows:

1) Physical form or real.

2) More personal.

3) Able to penetrate remote areas.

4) Can be a keepsake for the recipient of the letter.

5) Cheap to make and ship.

Dear Rasya,

How are you? I miss you.

It has been a year since you move to Jakarta. You know? I have

a new

hobby, going to the cinema. Whenever I have spare time, I go. I have

already watched twenty films. I watch all kinds of films-drama, horror

and crime.

One night, after a movie, I left the cinema hurriedly. My

watched showed 11.30 pm as I got on my bicycle. I pedaled hard and

sped home. My thoughts returned to one of the scenes that I had just

seen. It was a very scary movie. I could clearly remember a woman

screaming, as she was being attacked by a monster. That frightful

scene stayed on my mind.

I think that’s all for now. Write to me soon, okay! (Message body)

Regards Sabil. (Signature).
