    I am elated to submit an application for the post of Nurse with the Canadian government. I am a
    State Registered Nurse with 8 years work experience in a Catholic Hospital and have held varied
    posts of responsibility during this employment which makes me quite confident to seek recruitment
    as a nurse with your government.
    In July 2013, I was employed as Pharmacy Attendant at the Holy Family Hospital, Akum, Santa
    Subdivision, NWR, Cameroon
    My main duties were Pharmacy Management and Drug Dispensation. I held this post till May 2015
    and was promoted to Staff Nurse in June 2014 Working in the Medical ward, theatre and maternity.
    I was made ward Charge of the medical department in September 2016, a post I hold till April 2020,
    Supervising staff and equipment under me for better management of patients. I equally mentor
    students on internship since June 2014 and till then, I had mentored approximately 600 students
    from different health institutions of higher learning.
    During this period, I have gained skills in staff management, time and equipment management, care
    and counseling of patients especially critically sick patients.
    I am quite skilled on ensuring quality providing nursing care to my patients, counselling of patients
    and the families, according to doctors’ prescriptions. I have had first-hand experiences working
    with victims of Gender Based Violence and HIV/AIDs.
    In 2019,I engaged into the university of Bamenda where I spent a year and acquired a Bachelor’s
    degree in Nursing science-BNS.
    I live in Bamenda and speak English and Pidgin English and French. I am able to start work
    immediately if I am recruited and can work in any location as required by job exigencies. I am
    honest, reliable, and have the ability to work under pressure, on little or no supervision. I maintain
    confidentiality and work according to established protocols and working guidelines. I am good in
    record keeping and committed to providing high standards of care to my patients.
