Ten little firemen,
Sleeping in a row.
Ding, dong, goes the bell
In a wink they go
Off, to the engine, ho, ho, ho!
Using the big pipe so, so, so!
When the fire’s out,
Home they go,
Back to bed,
All in a row

Signal lights
‘Stop’ says the red light
‘Go’ says the green
‘Get ready’ says the amber one,
Twinkling in between,
That’s what it says and
That’s what it means
We all should follow it,
Even the queen!

Season of the Rain

It is the season of the rain.
When frogs and worms peep out again

Snails they slowly crawl.

While we hear the raindrops fall,
Children wear raincoats too,
So they don’t get wet right through,

Sail paper boats so small

While we hear the raindrops fall,
We see the lighting in the sky,
A rainbow up so high,
We hear the thunder call,
While we hear the raindrops fall.

4) Action Songs :
Road
Road is not the place to play,
During the night, during the day;
Cars and buses come and go,
Some are fast, some are slow;
Right and left, you must see and go,
On the zebra crossing so;
Never throw the litter one on the road
And always follow the traffic code.

Let us go a planting
Let us go and plant a seed,
Plant a seed. Plant a seed,
Let us go and plant a seed,
On a sunny morning.
Let us daily water it,
Water it, water it,
Let us daily water it,
On a sunny morning.
Then a little shoot will show,
Shoot will show, shoot will show
Then a little shoot will show,
On a sunny morning
Then the green leaves will grow,
leaves will grow, leaves will grow,
Then the green leaves will grow,
On a sunny morning
Then the lovely flowers will bloom,
flowers will bloom,
flowers will bloom,
Then the lovely flowers will bloom,
On a sunny morning

Elephant and Friends
One day an elephant wandered into a forest in search of friends. He saw a monkey
on a tree.
“Will you be my friend? asked the elephant

elephant met a rabbit. He asked to be his friends. But the rabbit said, “You are too
big to play in my burrow!”
Then the elephant met a frog. He asked “will you be my friend? How can I? asked
the frog.
“You are too big to leap about like me.”
The elephant was upset. He met a fox next.
“Will you be my friend? he asked the fox. The fox said, Sorry, sir you are too big.”
The next day, the elephant saw all the animals in the forest running for their lives.
The elephant asked them what the matter was.
The bear replied, “There is a tiger in the forest. He is trying to gobble us all up!”. The
animals all ran away to hide. The elephant wondered what he could do to solve
everyone in the forest. Mean-while, the tiger kept eating up whoever he could find.
The elephant walked up to the tiger and said, “Please Mr. Tiger do not eat up these
poor animals.” “mind your own business.” growled the tiger. The elephant has a no
choice but to give the tiger a hefty kick. The frightened tiger ran for his life. The
elephant ambled back in to the forest to announce the good news to everyone. All
the animals thanked the elephant.
They said, ‘You are just the right size to be our friend.’

The Musical Donkey

Once upon a time there lived a washerman in a village. He possessed a thin donkey
by the name of Udhata. The donkey used to work for the washerman and carry loads
of clothes to the river bank by the day. The donkey was not satisfied with the food
that was provided by the washerman. In the nights, he usually wandered in the
fields nearby and ate the crops stealthily.
One night, he met a jackal and made friends with him. Both of them went out in
search of food. Both of them went out in search of food. They found a field full of
cucumbers and had them in their fill. There were happy to found a nice place for
their food and decided that they would come daily to eat cucumbers. Soon, the
donkey started looking healthy and fat.
Once after a tasty meal of cucumbers, the donkey was extremely happy. He was so
happy that he wanted to sing a song. He told the jackal about his happiness. The
jackal immediately replied “Don’t be a fool. If you sing, the guards sleeping in and
around this field will wake up and beat with sticks.”
The donkey insisted on singing. The jackal again warned him not to do any foolish
act. The jackal told him that his voice not so sweet. But the donkey could not stop
himself from singing. Seeing the donkey singing, jackal said to the donkey, “Friend,
wait a minute, First, let me jump over to the other side of the fence for my safety.”
The jackal decided to wait outside the garden. On hearing a donkey braying in the
field, the guard woke up from his sleep. He picked up his stick lying by his side and
rushed out to beat him. The donkey was braying happily, unknown about the
danger.
The angry guard found the donkey and beat him. Somehow, the donkey managed to
drag himself out of the filed to the waiting jackal. The jackal looked at the donkey
and said in a sympathetic tone. “I am sorry to see you in this condition. I had already

The Sun and the Wind

Once it so happened that there was a beautiful contest between the sun and the
wind. It was to see which of the two was stronger than the other.
The wing was very proud of itself and its prowess. It said, “Even the mighty clouds
bow before me. They know that I can drive them away.
And the clouds can envelop you. So you are a small thing before me.” The sun said,
“It is the time that will tell you which is stronger of the two.”
Soon they saw a man who was wearing a coat. The sun said, “Let us see who makes
the man to take off his coat.”
The wind tried first. It blew harder and harder. But the man instead of removing his
coat wrapped it more and more. So, the wind failed.
Now it was the turn of the sun to try its strength. It began to shine. It became hotter
