The tale has been significantly changed in multiple retellings, as well as adapted to
countless modern stories and readings. The stories are about families and children and
how they dealt with terrible circumstances. The Grimm believed that the stories and
morals came directly from the German people through an oral tradition, and they
intended to save them before the tales were lost forever.
Was the story you've known from your childhood days different from the Grimm brother’s
version?
The version I know have the same story from the Grimm brother’s version but different
in the ending. The ending I remember is that little riding hood and her grandmother were
saved but the wolf had a chance to run away and didn’t ever come back unlike the story
of Grimm brothers, where the wolf were killed and another wolf appeared again but little
riding hood just ignored it.

versions of stories from them.
