For instance, the unfriendly working environment at workplace causes mental distress.
People call sick and avoid workplace gatherings by telling lies. It indicates that the
employee is under distress.
People also become denial about their mental agony. They find it embarrassing to tell others about their problems. They
feel like they are a laughing stock and others will ridicule them. This pressure multiplies inside the person's mind until it
becomes unbearable.
We urge people to not neglect mental stress and give it equal importance as physical wellbeing.

When we take a lot of stress for a prolonged period, we succumb to the ill-effects of depression and anxiety. Stress
can infiltrate and surge in our lives for several reasons. If there is anyone who can help you from getting stressed is
you. You can trust yourself to combat stress and bring about the best in you, while a professional guides you through.
Stress management is a series of strategies that professional health experts and lifestyle wellness initiators create
for people to combat stress. Once we start following these techniques, we regain our inner peace. The proven and
scientific techniques of stress management help us to calm down and bring back happiness and tranquillity.
Our body starts to respond in a very positive way when we follow these strategies in our daily life.
Counsellors opine that people can manage stress by channelling their body and mind to a different activity. Activiti-
es like yoga, meditation, exercise, uplift the mind of stress individuals. They help the mind to feel relaxed and fresh.
So we suggest people engage in an hour of exercise with meditation to have a relaxing start to the day.
Reports show that stress hormones are less when we have a care-giver around us. A warm cuddle from the person
you love, sharing fears and thoughts, endless conversations, help to ease the burden of anxiety. Those with a caring
partner must engage in a loving intimate relationship during these trying times. A good sexual relationship helps our
body to release endorphins and dopamine. These are feel-good hormones that lower levels of anxiety drastically.

Visiting A Psychiatrist/Professional
Stress management sessions with psychiatrists in a routine fashion is helpful for those individuals who are lonely. A talk,
with an expert, is excellent therapy. Not only will doctors listen to your problems but also we will guide you with steps to
overcome it. They help you engage in activities that boost your spirit. You make friends with people who are also on the
same boat. Gradually you regain your cognitive thinking and rationalise things happening.
When it comes to coping up with depression and anxiety, it is of paramount importance that we get rid of negative thoughts.
Owing to our past experiences, we cannot help but think about the worst. But we should be resolute, and not let our past m-
eddle with our present. Happy thoughts, engagements, fun activities will help us get rid of the mental agony.
The advice of mental health experts plays a pivotal role in our outlook. After dealing with mental breakdowns, we need to
understand that we shouldn't jump into conclusions. Mental exercises and proper nutrition help us to feel good, and feel
positive, about our state-of-being. This, in turn, makes us feel confident. Stay happy and mentally healthy stops us from
bickering with someone. Sessions with professionals help us to become mindful, proactive, and cope up with work-related
stress.

Conclusion
I, the writer of this book, have been suffering mental distress throughout my childhood without anyone even realizing any-
thing. I have felt this world crashing down, I have felt that I almost lose everything but I didn’t give up. I have fought my
fears and come out victorious!
Now, with my pen, I wish to help others who are facing the same issue I had in my past. I want them to feel that they are
not alone. Back then, I had no one with whom I could discuss my problems but now, I have ways to express what I feel. I
want you to do the same. Tell the world what are you feeling right now. Let them know that you are a fighter, not a coward
who would hide. Let everyone know how you have fought your fears.
Always remember, “you have a fighter within yourself and it is waiting for the moment you unleash it. Society has developed
a toxic unnatural way of dealing with fighters and survivors like us but we must break that to build a better environme-
nt around us. The time has come when we fight this battle and redefine the word ‘brave’ by coming out victorious.”
