Benefits of Having A Cat As A Pet
Let me start my speech by stating the first benefit of having a cat, you are bound to
have a healthier heart when you have a pet cat. Thanks to its relaxing effect, we
will have healthier heart according to a study. Science reveal that there is a 30
percent chance that people that own cats can avoid stroke and other heart problems
compared to those who do not own cats. Thus, owning a cat make someone health
better.
Furthermore, due to our country MCO, having a cat might be benefit you to those
who living alone. Yes, cats can fill the void in the lonely house. Cats too can be as
much as fun as a human. Even if we go out, they will always wait for us to return.
Aside from being around all the time, cats can also be the best outlet when you
need to talk to someone but you are not sure who to trust. Cats might not response
to you but you can relax because of their purr. Their purr can make you feels safe
around them. Therefore, cats can be a good companion for us who will be there for
us no matter what.
Moreover, Cats purr helps heal faster. Science reveal cats don’t just purr when they
are happy; they do this when they are in pain too. The question of why has been a
big issue among researchers. They discover cats may have healing abilities and this
applies to humans too. If you have an injury and need to mend your bones, petting
a cat and the sound of its purring might help you heal faster. If you pay enough
attention to your cats friends, you might have noticed that after having tough day,
cats tend to purr a lot. This was also seen as a cat’s way to heal itself.
Last but not least, kids with pets cats become more responsible and healthier
adults. When you are responsible for someone other than yourself, your sense of
responsibility develops. Study shows children who raised pets have been shown
become more responsible adults than those who don’t.
Although having cats as pets too have their own disadvantages. We don’t need to
think it hard. Having this special relationship with cats might not for all of the
people, they might just come to you on their own or they let you come to them. I
have now come to an end of my speech, and thus I would like to thank all of you
for being all eared. I hope may be useful for everyone who listen my speech. With
this, I end my speech with thank you and good bye.
