Why everyone should own a dog

Becoming a dog owner is something everyone should consider at some

point. There are many advantages to owning a dog. Dogs are loyal to their owners
and anyone who knows the owner. They are also protective and can help you be
more social in public. Dogs are super helpful to people who are disabled or people
who get overstimulated. Even though taking care of dogs is a bit pricey, owning a
dog or two can be valuable for you and your family.
First, it is often said that "a dog is a man's best friend." Yes, a dog offers
companionship and is present to ease its owner's worries. Your dog will always be
faithful to you in times of trouble and happiness. They are indeed your best friend.
Several scientific studies prove that dogs help relieve stress and anxiety.
Secondly, a dog will protect their owner from intruders and strangers. Many
people own dogs for protection. Many dogs are trained to protect their owners and
children. Although dogs can serve as guardians for children, they are always
friendly to children.
Thirdly, owning a dog will make the owner more pleasant and appealing.
Over recent years, many people have been drawn to owning a dog because of the
growth of love for dogs. Dog owners' associations have been created. The
friendship between dogs and owners has increased. For example, it is easy for a
person to start a conversation in the park with another person who has a dog.
According to the American Kennel Club, researchers found that 40 percent of dog
owners have an easier time making friends.
Fourthly, dogs are beneficial for people with a disability . Service dogs are
of tremendous help to their owners. People with a disability can go places with the
help of their faithful companions. These service dogs take their owner to markets,
doctor appointments, and other areas. These dogs help their friends and humans
complete their daily life activities.
People won't consider owning a dog because of the price it costs to care for
one. For example, they argue that dog food costs a lot. But you can train your dog
to eat the same thing as you, and you won't spend much money on dog food.
Second, you will need to have insurance for your dog. Well, this dog gives you a
lot of happiness and is faithful to you. Buying health insurance will be nothing as
you love it, too. Finally, people said the owner would need to spend much money
on dog sitters when absent. But dog owners can always drop their dogs off their
friends, and they will be excellent for the people who take care of them while the
owners are absent.
In conclusion, everyone should consider owning a dog because they bring
happiness, help ease their worries, make their owner-friendly, are great at
servicing, and provide protection.
