ANSWER THE QUESTIONS(key)

1-What is a time capsule?It is a container.You put things inside it and then leave it in a special place for people
to find in the future

2-How does the Kiwi key ring work? When you press the red button, it sends a signal to another person then
that person logs on to the Kiwi Internet site using the key ring code then you will be found where you are.

3-Does Jan do anything to make the Earth a good place? Yes,she starts a recycling system at home and I help
organise a Green Day at school

4- Why does she put her memory stick in her time capsule. She has all her photos on it.There are pictures of her
family,Port Prime,their summer holiday

5-What is her future city like? Jan’s city is in the middle of abig city.There are lots of tall buildings full of
lights.There are shops and cinemas and abig sports stadium,there are tasis flying in the sky

6-How does Jan feel when Mrs Zinger says that Jan is the only person interested in history?

She feels very alone. and I think shy

7-What does Jan mean when she says “don’t be sexist” to Tom ? He has no right to say that she can’t enter the
building just because she is a girl

8-What does trespassing mean ?Why do the boys think that Jan is a tresspassing? They think that place is their
territory and James come there without taking their permission

9-What is the deal that Jan and the boys make?

If the boys give her the Time Capsule ,she is going to give them some biscuits

10-She thinks she is in the future but that fact disappoints her.Why? Because i her dream of future is
completely different

11-What is Tom’s house like? He lives in a detached house with a very old car parked outside the house

12-What does Tom say to his parents about Jan? (How does he explain the reason that she has to
stay with them ) Jan is Pauly’s friend and lives in Apsworth and is too late to take a bus and Pauly is ill, that’s
why she is there to spend the night

13-How does Jan feel when she is in Tom’s room ? Why? She feels tired, frightened and excited She doesn’t
know how to go back to her house---

15-How does she discover that she is not in the future?After she learns that he has no PC or aMac and doesn’t
know anything about Internet she realises the fact that she is not in the future and then when she learns the year
,she is sure hat she is not in the future,she is in the past

16-What is the thing that Tom finds amazing ? Her phone because it is used as a camera ,a music player,data
storage device and a radio ,

17-Why does Tom think that Jan doesn’t have real friends although she has 320 friends? She doesn’t see them
they are on the Internet

18-Why does Tom think that Jan’s life in the future isn’t good ? She isn’t allowed to cycle, she has just one real
friend.she can’t go on her own,can’tt spend time with her parents

19-Why does Jamie apologise to Jan ? She knows so much about music that Jamie

20-What does Tom want Jan to do when she goes back to the future? Tom wants her to find her

21-Why doesn’t Jan say the truth to her parents ? She thinks that no one will believe her

23-Why does she want to see Tom Green ? She wants to see Tom Green,the head of the company, because she

apologizes to Jan in his letter? He takes everything in her time capsule without asking her that’s why she
apologizes.
