Organizational Experience:
 Cost Estimation Engineer – Project Control Department - Reliance Project Management Group at
Reliance Corporate Park – Reliance Industries Ltd. (October 2018 – Till date).
My current job responsibilities are listed below:
 Preparation of project cost estimates for a variety of small, medium and large projects in
Refining, petrochemical units of Reliance Industries Limited.
 Providing support to the project team for selection to various technologies and materials
based on cost estimates.
 Interacting with project team and other departments viz. procurement, contracts and
construction to get required basic data for estimation of project.
 Estimation of Equipment, Materials and Construction cost etc using Aspen CCE or historical
database.
 Preparation of close out and variance report for completed projects.
 Review the Cost estimates submitted by Contractors, viz. BEC, DEC, Licensor, EP Contractors,
EPCM Contractor, Construction Contractor,etc.
 Conduct internal seminars/trainings to new employees related to estimation of mechanical
equipment.
 Document the Company Cost data base covering all cost estimation norms and cost data as
reference for estimation for future projects.
 Engineer - Minor Project Cell at Dahej Manufacturing Division - Reliance Industries Ltd. (July 2016 -
September 2018).
The major job accountabilities are listed as below:
 Cost estimation, detail engineering, reviewing drawing, preparing of Bill of Materials (BOM)
& Suggested Order Quantity (SOQ) and implementation of various Management of Changes
(MOCs) and Small CAPEX Projects.
 Evaluation of technical offers, review of vendor's documents, design drawing, datasheet etc.
to meet RIL standards for approval.
 Co-ordination for Plant Operation & Maintenance and Central Technology Services for MOC
and small projects for site visit, feasibility studies, approval of check print & comments
compilation & incorporation in final prints.
 Preparing weekly MIS for Cost Estimates.
 Graduate Engineer Trainee in Minor Project Cell at Dahej Manufacturing Division – Reliance
Industries Ltd (July 2015 – July 2016)
As a trainee I was involved in the following jobs:
 On the Job Training for the role of Engineer – Minor Project Cell.
 Executed DM water management project, increased water utility during water crisis. I was
awarded R-Sammaan for Excellence. I was also awarded a team exemplary awarded for
outstanding team work.
 Successful commissioning of PVC jumbo bagging, project worth 2.2 cr.
 Installed Inter-connection conveyor belt, advanced logic baggage sensing mechanism for
PVC bagging.
 Studying RIL work & safety procedures and various standard maintenance procedures.
