To many, Steven Spielberg is the most successful filmmaker of all times. Born on
December 18, 1947, he grew up in Ohio and other North American states.

As a child, he didn´t like school veryGRADE
much. His true interest was in filmmaking and he

used his family video camera to make films. He sometimes showed them in his home
while his sisters sold popcorn. Spielberg made his first film when he was 12 years old.
When he was 16, he made a two-hour science fiction film about a meeting with aliens.
He wanted to go to film school but he was not accepted because his secondary school
marks were not very good. He decided to get a job at Universal Studios, where he
directed some films and TV series. His first big hit was Jaws (1975), a horror film about
a huge killer shark. It made him a millionaire! Then came great films, for example, Close
Encounters of the Third Kind, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park.
Today Spielberg is a billionaire, but he is still a simple person. He enjoys a happy family
life with his second wife, the three children they had together, the two children they
adopted and the two children they have from their previous marriages.

Hi! My name's Gregory and I'm 14 years old. I always get up at 7 o'clock , and I usually
have tea and toast for breakfast. I go to school by car, my dad takes me, but I go home
by bus in the afternoon. After school I do my homework and then I play video games. I
love action games because sport games are very boring! Last weekend I went to my
uncle's house and I played many games with my cousins. They are older than me, but
we always have fun together!
