Macromedia flash
Aim of the experiment: to play a color wheel in macromedia flash.
Resource required: windows operating system with macromedia flash 8 software.
Description: macromedia flash is a program that creates interactive, and animated media such as motion
graphics, videos, presentations and websites. You can control an object’s actions and behaviors using
behavior panel and the timeline. For more advanced control you can use ActionScript, flash’s programming
language that is very similar to JavaScript.

 the timeline panel is where you will control every object’s animation using frames and keyframes.
 The tool panel is very similar the tool panel in abode photoshop. Tools include selection(move), free
transform (scale, rotate), line, lasso, magic wand, shape, fill, gradient, erase, pencil, pen, brush and
more.
 The library panel is where flash will store all of your imported items, graphics, motion tweens, audio,
video and symbols. Flash also has “common libraries” with useful buttons, ActionScript
programming classes and “learning interactions”.
 The canvas is where you will control and select options. The properties will change depending on
what you are currently selecting.

Procedure:
1. Click on start button.
2. Open macromedia flash 8. Open new file.
3. Draw a circle use oval tool in toolbar.
4. Divide the circle using line tool.
5. Now apply colors in each of sectors.
6. After adding colors press F6.
7. Now change the consecutive color to the next sectors.
8. Now press F6.
9. Repeat the step7 for some frames.
10. Press enter or press control and play. Change frames if you wish.
11. Now your color wheel rotates.
12. Save file.

procedure:

4. Right click on any part of the frame and click on insert key frame.
5. Now press on the selection tool and move the object to some other plaes.
6. Repeat the same procedure for some more frames.
7. Now click somewhere between the frames.
8. Give a right click on it.
9. Select create motion tween for all frames.
10. Adjust the frame per second and click on control and play.
11. Your object moving in two directions by using motion tween is done.
12. Save the file.

5. Type some text and select it press ctrl+B+B.
6. now select any part in the key frames.
7. Give a right click. Select on insert key frame.
8. Now go to selection tool and move the text somewhere else on the screen.
9. Repeat from step 6 until some frames are created.
10. Now right click between each of the frames and click on create motion and enter.
11. Your text moving in two directions by using motion tween is done.
12. Save the file.

8. And then to the next stair repeat the step 6 until some bounces happens.
9. For each move press F6. At last adjust the frames per second and click on control and play.
10. Your creating bouncing ball in macromedia is done.
11. Save the file.

7. Now select anywhere in the timeline of layer 1 and give a right click then click on convert to key
frame.
8. Now select on the frame, give a right click on it select create motion tween.
9. Repeat step 1 for layer 2.
10. Now move the car at the end of the road using selection tool.
11. Click on control and play.
12. Your car moving in a city in macromedia is ready.
13. Save the file.

6. Go to filters beside properties then click + and click glow.
7. Adjust the blur size and color press enter.
8. Now draw a circle with black fill in it, right click on it.
9. Click on convert to symbol then click ok.
10. Drag the black circle into the white circle and press F6.
11. Repeat the step 9 until you cannot see the white circle and press F6.
12. Click on control and click ok.
13. Your moon transition is done.
14. Save the file.

9. Click on convert to symbol, click ok.
10. Drag the black circle into the orange circle and press F6.
11. Repeat the above step until you fill the black circle in orange circle. Press F6 for each transition.
12. Your solar eclipse is done.
13. Save the file.

11.Save the file as a flash document.
