Hi, I Am Ali Tariq. I am very interested in Master’s in Engineering Management program at the
University of Chester. Currently, I am working as a Web developer and Graphic designer at
Design Tech, Pakistan. It has been about almost 2 years since my career started. Recently, I felt
that my professional development has plateaued, and to reach the next tipping point, it is
important to acquire a master’s degree. After evaluating the dissimilarity of education methods in
Pakistan and overseas, I found it better to opt for an institution outside Pakistan. I have
completed my undergraduate degree of BS (Software Engineering) which I feel had enhanced
my abilities. I also worked in track4solutions as an internee.
I love traveling and I am not afraid of changes. I like to travel to new places because traveling
gives you experiences which cannot forget in your entire life. I am highly motivated towards
learning new skills and experiencing new things this is also one of my reasons to continue
challenging myself by studying for a Master’s degree at the University of Chester.
Today, the fields of Engineering and Technology are continuously changing to accommodate
new concepts and applications. These fields when combined with management give rise to a vast
application potential. The immense possibility of Business Interchange and the instant
knowledge of the outcome that stimulates one for further analysis is what I find most appealing
about management. Hence, I intend to pursue my master's in Engineering Management.
The United Kingdom has the reputation of offering high-quality education and receiving students
world internationally over for many years. Qualification obtained from the United Kingdom is
valued worldwide and most especially in my country. Employers value graduates from the
United Kingdom. Experience has shown that these graduates are well trained, have the required
skills and deliver great results. This is why I choose to further my studies in the UK to become
more valuable in the job market, which will enable me to reach my future goal. Studying in the
United Kingdom will give me a chance to learn in a multicultural community this will open my
mind towards other traditions and will help me to handle and diverse workforce anywhere in the
world. Masters from the United Kingdom are very successful in finding jobs and hold prominent
positions worldwide and especially in Pakistan. The UK is at the forefront of new technology
and innovations. A student who studies in the UK can take advantage of the country's impressive
technology and research resources.
After Searching out for several Universities in UK I have selected the University of Chester for
pursuing my Master’s degree. Deeper research about the course offered by the University of
Chester gave me a clear idea about the academic curriculum and its outcomes. The program
clearly is designed with the aim of providing strong practical expertise to the students while
giving a glimpse of modern and emerging theories. Their teaching staff is recognized around the
world for their excellent industry connections and research impact. Their expertise helps you get
involved with external organizations to solve real-life problems and challenges, improving your
knowledge. University has a range of diversified courses to choose from along with liaisons with
1000 plus organizations to help their students find a quality. The University of Chester is
economically budget-friendly which is one of the main reasons for choosing this institution, this
degree at the University of Chester will provide me with profound knowledge about
Management in Engineering in an international environment. For this purpose, I decided to
pursue my studies at the University of Chester because this university has a profound history in
Education and most of the degrees are worldwide accepted and recognized. I am convinced that
your institution is perfect for my goals.
After completion of my degree program, I will return to Pakistan. want to see me as a successful
entrepreneur of an engineering firm, and this goal motivated me towards pursuing a Master in
Engineering Management. I have a profound knowledge of structural design, maintenance, and
construction. I also possess the required skills like leadership, problem-solving, decision making,
interpersonal skills, etc., to reach my goal. The finishing touch that will take me closer to my
plan is this degree. I hope the institution recognizes my potential.
