1. CHAIRPERSON’S SPEECH
1.1 Welcomed all the panel members to our second meeting in 2019.
1.2 Hope in this second meeting we can discuss and find the solutions to upgrade the Mid
Year Examination results of our pupils.
1.3 Hope in this meeting also we can discuss our next panel activities to encourage pupils
using English in their daily lives especially during school periods.
2. ADVISOR’S SPEECH
2.1 Thanked and congratulated all the members for attending the meeting.
2.2 Hoped this second meeting will discuss and make decision of our panel activities
entire 2019.
2.3 Hoped this meeting also can discuss the solutions for upgrading the analysis of Mid
Year Examination results of our pupils. There are 2 important things we have to focus
more which are the post mortem of the exam and the intervention program to cope
with.
2.4 All the activities that have been done must have the paperwork which involve the
financial, while the activities which didn’t involve any financial just have to prepare
the written report.
2.6 The 21st Learning and Teaching analysis must be verified by the GPK 1 and put them
in panel files. Hoped all members
2.7 Hoped all members have done with the PBS assessment and put them in panel file and
also individual file. Please send 1 copy to Pn Norfadhilah for documentation process.
4. MATTERS ARISING
4.1 There are no matters arising from 1st meeting. All programs have been completed
before this meeting.
5. PROFESSIONAL DISCUSSION

5.1 MID YEAR EXAMINATION POST MORTEM
a) PAPER 1
Year 4: 82.3% pupils master the subject with GPMP 3.18. 3 out of 17
pupils are not master the subject well.
Year 5: 90.9% pupils master the subject with GPMP 2.32. 2 out of 22
pupils not master the subject.
Year 6: 52.6% pupils master the subject with their GPMP 3.74. 9 out of 19
pupils not master the subject well.
b) PAPER 2
Year 4: 70.6% pupils master the subject with GPMP 3.24. 5 out of 17
pupils are not master the subject well.
Year 5: 86.4% pupils master the subject with GPMP 3.00. 3 out of 22
pupils not master the subject.
Year 6: 47.4% pupils master the subject with their GPMP 4.00. 9 out of 19
pupils not master the subject well.
5.2.1 For Year 4, there are 1 or 2 pupils that didn’t want to join any
activities that planned by the teacher and some of them are not behaved
in class while interrupt their friends’ work.
5.2.2 For Year 5 &6, the attitude lies in them is the main point why
they cannot master the subject. Even though many programs and
activities in class, some of them did not participate well.
a) For this year the per capita is RM384 and have been used well to buy
teachers and pupils’ need in teaching and learning activities.
a) 9 out of 19 UPSR candidates have been spotted not master in both papers.
b) The attitude of them besides the poor attendance to school contributing the poor
results. Some of them do not have the effort ot learn the English subject.

c) Some of them also always let the paper blank rather than trying to answer them.
d) However, their result in mid-year examination is better than monthly test 1 results.
a) Hoped all English teachers used the guidance given to assess pupils’ achievement
and record them in their report.
b) For mid-year report, hoped all teachers give the copy of the report to Pn
Norfadhilah and Pn Noor Dayana to compile them.
c) For teacher’s individual report, hoped teachers put them at the back of our lesson
plan file.
6.1 OPPM
a) Hoped the head or the secretary of English panel can blacken the OPPM
sheet to show that the activities that have been planned were completed.
Please blacken the sheet in the file at the office also and make sure it
tallies with the panel file.
