Description Of Change: An improved assembly process for tie rods assembled onto AWD axles is now used on
certain F2 Series Backhoe loaders. The new assembly process has an improved joint capacity of the tie rod
threads to the steering cylinder threads by adding Loctite 271 to the threads.

Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are
effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.

Apply Loctite 271 during assembly of the tie rod to the steering cylinder. Refer to Table 1 for required part
numbers.
