DIVISION MEMORANDUM
No. __012__, s. 2022
1. The Office hereby disseminates Regional Memorandum No. 0052 Re: “Suspension of
Classes in Areas Under Alert Level 3 Within the Region from January 24-31, 2022”
for the information and guidance of all teaching and non-teaching personnel in the
field/schools.
2. The suspension of classes covers only the schools and learning centers, thus, division
office personnel are still guided by the existing stipulations under Division Memorandum
No. 10, s. 2022 (observance of 60% physical reporting in the workplace/3-2 work plan. The
division office, district offices, and the six (6) suboffices shall continue to be
operational on January 24-31, 2022 to cater to the needs of all personnel and other
stakeholders. Suboffice caretakers/in-charge must ensure that the skeletal workforce
will be implemented in the six (6) suboffices.
4. District supervisors and district -based non-teaching personnel who performed functions
that are financial or administrative in nature need to still report to district offices and
shall observe the 3-2 work plan (the three (3) days on-site, two (2) days work-from-
home arrangement) to finish/submit important reports or accomplish important
deliverables.

5. Division personnel or staff who have travel difficulties or those who need to travel more
than ten (10) kilometers from their point of origin may observe the 3-2 work plan (3 days
on-site, 2 days work-from-home), the three (3) working on-site may be done by reporting
to the nearest sub-office. However, unit/section heads may call that personnel who are
reporting to suboffices to report physically to the Division Office to finish or perform tasks
that need immediate completion/attention. Staff who have travel difficulties may also
observe the six hours on-site and two hours work-from-home arrangement as stipulated in
Div. Memo No. 10, s. 2022.
6. District supervisors are directed to monitor the performance/s of the schools and non-
teaching personnel of the implementing units (secondary schools). School heads and
nonteaching personnel (from implementing units) who incurred delays in giving the
teachers/employees’ salaries in the last six (6) months should not be given the privilege of
work-from-home arrangement. School heads and support staff of implementing units need
to report to schools on January 24-31, 2022 if there are financial reports and other
administrative tasks to be performed/need to be accomplished on time.
7. The number of school days will soon be adjusted to comply with the provisions of RA
11480 as amended by RA 7797 stipulating that the number of school days in a given school
year shall be at least 200 school days but not exceeding 220 school days.
8. District supervisors, school heads, teachers, and all other concerned are hereby
reminded of the directives of Usec. Diosdado San Antonio about the “Academic Ease” as
stated in MEMORANDUM DM-CI-2022-009 dated 12 January 2022 and MEMORANDUM
OUCI-2020-307 dated 20 October 2020 for the benefit of all learners, teachers, and other
stakeholders who are directly affected by this pandemic.
9. A separate issuance will soon be issued/provided for the in-service training on February
1-5, 2022 (midyear inset/break) depending on the Alert Level that will soon be issued by
the national IATF after the January 31st Alert Level 3.
10. Public schools district supervisors, school heads, and all other concerned are hereby
directed to monitor/implement the stipulations of the afore-quoted memorandum.
12. Wide dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is hereby directed.
