    2. List down the names of popular Filipino propagandists during the last twenty years of
    Spanish dominion. Find out some titles of their work.
     Jose Rizal - Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo
     Marcelano H. Del Pilar - Dasalan at Tocsohan
     Mariano Ponce - the organization's secretary
     Garciano Lopez Jaena - La Solidaridad, the movement's principal organ
    2. Analyze and draw themes from the two prayer parodies.
     The two prayer parodies, the Amain Namin (a parody of Ama Namin) and the
    Aba Guinoong Baria (a parody of Aba Guinoong Maria), are sarcastic of the
    prayers that the friars taught to the Catholic Filipinos during the Monastic
    Supremacy in the Philippines, which served only to corrupt the friars' teachings,
    resulting in poverty and misery for the Filipinos.

    II. Analysis. Read the work of MH del Pilar from “Dasalan at Tocsohan”. Write an
    essay that will answer the questions below.
    Guide questions for essay: What is the work about? Explain. If you were a reader of this
    work during the Spanish period, what do you think will be your reaction to this work?
    Explain why. How important is this work to Philippine history and the formation of the
    Filipino nationalism? Explain.

     The work is based on a parody of the Ten Commandments. Plaridel discusses how
    we are taught to glorify the Spanish friars and priests rather than the Lord. Knowing
    how deadly these individuals can be, I would be afraid for the author's life if I were
    reading this during the Spanish time. But, privately, seeing a fellow Filipino fight for
    me would make me proud as a Filipino. This effort has inspired and demonstrated to
    Filipinos the need of uniting and fighting back. This also demonstrates how awful the
    Spanish colony's reign was.
