Analysis and Recommend for Organic Health

Food
ABSTRACT:
There is increasing demand for organic food products throughout the Western
world. Health concerns have frequently been found to be the main motivation of
consumers purchasing organic products, but the literature on consumer
preferences and behavior is less clear about what ‘health’ means to consumers
of these products, and because of this it remains unclear what exactly drives
consumers to choose organic products. This article investigates health from the
perspective of consumers, and analyzes negotiations of, and justifications
behind, their consumption preferences. The analysis is based on a focus group
study conducted .Three different understandings of health can be found when
consumers explain their preferences for organic products: Health as purity;
Health as pleasure, and a Holistic perspective on health. The first two are
familiar from the literature on food. The third, which reflects principles behind
organic agriculture, is less documented in the context of consumption. Health as
purity was the dominant understanding of health used by the participants when
explaining why they purchased organic food products. When participants
discussed healthy eating in general, detached from a specific context, most
employed a purely nutritional perspective as a definitive argument in supporting
claims about healthy eating. The paper’s findings have implications for future
research on organic consumption. They also have practical implications for
organic food producers and manufacturers.
ARCHITECTURE:
EXISTING SYSTEM:
Organic food that you will be able to save more money with organic foods
because it prevents a lot of diseases that could send you to the hospital where
your finances is highly likely to be used up. But when the concern is about the
cost of initial purchase, naturally grown foods turn out to be not as cheap as
proponents would have you believe. Because organic farmers do not use
chemicals or artificial methods to grow crops or livestock, production is much
lower. Add to this the extra manual labor, and the costs of organic farming are
surely elevated. The only way farmers will make a profit is to sell their products
at a higher price. Organic farming may have benefits, but before anything can
be harvested, farmers have to go through a lot of work and face plenty of
challenges. Using manure as fertilizer, for example, is difficult to apply, and
even more difficult to control the mineral content. Weeding, on the other hand,
is more labor intensive than using herbicides, and when nitrogen-fixing plants
are used as part of crop rotation, the area available for growing crops is reduced
significantly In terms of the bacterial contamination, the difference is not
statistically significant either. What is even surprising is that the prevalence of
is higher in organic produce than its conventional counterparts, 7% and 6%
respectively. Organic crops also have a 5% greater risk of being contaminated.
This may have something to do with the use of manure as fertilizer. So clearly,
organic foods don’t live up to the hype.

DISADVANTAGES:
1. More expensive
2. Not widely available
3. Takes a lot of work

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
Proponents may claim that organic foods are more nutritious than the non-
organic variety, but scientific studies showed that there is little difference in
nutrient content, except for phosphorus and total polyphenols, which are
significantly higher. Organic chicken also contains higher levels of omega-3
fatty acids than its non-organic counterparts. So what makes naturally grown
foods healthier? It is the fact that they are organically farmed, free from any
pesticides and herbicides that may have harmful effects. This results in a more
energetic and stronger body, with a reduced risk of disorders, illness and
disease. Some non-organic foods contain additives that can alter the taste,
nutritional value and may even lead to weight gain. All of these are not found
on naturally grown food items, which mean taste is better and more natural.
Recent studies also showed that organic food has more healthy chemicals and
mineral salts that increase nutritional value and quality. Organic foods are also
of high quality, which means you get exactly what you paid for. And if you still
think it is too expensive for your grocery budget, you can always grow your
own organic vegetable garden and then barter with other farmers. You can also
try to barter goods or services in exchange for organic food. Buying organic
food may be expensive initially, but you will save money in the long run.
Remember that whole foods prevent major and minor diseases, lowering health
care costs because you are unlikely to get sick and be confined in a hospital.
Moreover, you won’t miss work and your income will remain intact.

ADVANTAGES
1. Healthier to consume
2. Better tasting
3. Promotes a healthy family
4. Protects the environment

MODULES:
1. Recommendation Engine
Organic food has become very popular. But navigating the maze of organic
food labels, benefits, and claims can be confusing. Is organic food really better
for your mental and physical health? Do GMOs and pesticides cause cancer and
other diseases? What do all the labels mean? This guide can help you make
better choices about shopping organic, including what to focus on and how to
make eating organic more affordable.
2. Graph
The analyses of proposed systems are calculated based on the approvals and
disapprovals. This can be measured with the help of graphical notations such as
pie chart, bar chart and line chart. The data can be given in a dynamical data.

3. Methodology
Organic food is food produced by methods that comply with the standards
oforganic farming. ... From an environmental perspective, fertilizing,
overproduction, and the use of pesticides in conventional farming may
negatively affect ecosystems, biodiversity, groundwater, and drinking water
supplies
4. Analysis
Stanford study, the  analysis also found that while conventional and organic
vegetables oftentimes offer similar levels of many nutrients, organic foods have
fewer pesticide residues. They also have on average 48 percent lower levels of
cadmium, a toxic metal and a known carcinogen—a clear bonus, if you ask me.

ALGORITHM:
Support Vector Machine

“Support Vector Machine” (SVM) is a supervised machine learning algorithm

which can be used for both classification or regression challenges. However, it
is mostly used in classification problems. In this algorithm, we plot each data
item as a point in n-dimensional space (where n is number of features you have)
with the value of each feature being the value of a particular coordinate. Then,
we perform classification by finding the hyper-plane that differentiate the two
classes very well (look at the below snapshot). The SVM algorithm is
implemented in practice using a kernel. The learning of the hyperplane in linear
SVM is done by transforming the problem using some linear algebra, which is
out of the scope of this introduction to SVM. A powerful insight is that the
linear SVM can be rephrased using the inner product of any two given
observations, rather than the observations themselves. The inner product
between two vectors is the sum of the multiplication of each pair of input
values. For example, the inner product of the vectors [2, 3] and [5, 6] is 2*5 +
3*6 or 28. The equation for making a prediction for a new input using the dot
product between the input (x) and each support vector (xi) is calculated as
follows:

f(x) = B0 + sum(ai * (x,xi))

This is an equation that involves calculating the inner products of a new input
vector (x) with all support vectors in training data. The coefficients B0 and ai
(for each input) must be estimated from the training data by the learning
algorithm.

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS

The project involved analyzing the design of few applications so as to

make the application more users friendly. To do so, it was really important to
keep the navigations from one screen to the other well ordered and at the same
time reducing the amount of typing the user needs to do. In order to make the
application more accessible, the browser version had to be chosen so that it is
compatible with most of the Browsers.

CONCLUSION

When the fruit is ripe, it will emit certain smell to attract birds, bees, and
humans. This is how seeds are disseminated. If we do not pick them, they will
definitely fall on the ground. So eating fruits and vegetables is common sense.
On the other hand, animals and livestock are raised by humans. They have the
right to live.  Actually they have long lived on the planet and deserve the right
to live. Having vegan diets can help protect the animals and also reduce global
warming. With organic agriculture, the water can be well preserved During our
interviews, we find that most vegan restaurants run their business for the
benefits of health and the planet. In addition, visiting organic farms makes us
aware of the advantages and process of organic agriculture. We believe the
benefits of vegan diets and hope more and more people can learn something
from out project. And all together we can make our planet a better one by this
eco-friendly choice
