I. Rationale
The Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation shall be held in all public elementary and
secondary schools for a total of five days preferably at the end of the semester of every school year.
A mid-year review is an evaluation that a manager conducts one-on-one with employees, the
manager outlines the team member’s goals and determines whether they achieved those goals. It
also helps a manager to strengthen the relationship with their team member through actionable
feedback. Thus, D. Masalon Y Recto Elementary School is conducting this five-day activity. Three
days using the virtual platform, while the two days will be conducted face-to-face by strictly adhering
to the health protocols set by the IATF. These activities aim to ensure that 100% of the teachers will
be equipped with the Knowledge, Skills, and Values, resourceful and creative in the delivery of
learning in this time of pandemic, strengthen the teaching strategies, manifest commitment, and
dedication in work, develop intervention and innovation for teaching to be delivered in this time of
pandemic to address the identified least learned competencies in each subject and to evaluate the
performances of teachers using the Individual Performance Review Tool.
II. Objectives
The objectives of this activity are to:
a. to conduct five-day Mid-Year Performance Review and Evaluation;
b. to present the Mastered Learning Competencies, Least learned Competencies in all
subjects in the Quarter 1 and Quarter 2;
