Teacher Mary: Gooood morningggggg, students! This is your teacher Mary. Wow!

New day,
new learnings! This day is very special, and would be wonderful and enjoyable as we will
have another activity or should I call a 'GAME' that will help improve and enhance our
listening skills. So, shall we begin???

Students: Yessssss Missss! (joyous and cheerful)

Teacher Mary: And now for the mechanics of the game, let me introduce to you the cutessttt
and handsomeeee Teacher Henreyyyy!!!

Students: (Cheering and Applauding) 👏🏻🙌🏻

Teacher Henrey: OK students, listen carefully for I will now give the mechanics of our game.

MECHANICS OF THE GAME:

1) We prepare the hidden phrase before we started our class and we make sure that you
have enough for each pair to have a different one.
2)This game is by pair.
3) Together with your pair, you will create a dialogue using the hidden phrase we give, while
the other pairs will listen intently to try and figure out the hidden phrase within the dialogue.
4) The phrase to be guessed are being distributed to you earlier.
5) After the one pair uttered their dialogues, others pairs will be given 10 seconds to guess
the phrase.
6) The timer will stop when the pair guesses the answer.
7) Each group that guesses correctly gets one point.
8) If no one can guess the hidden phrase correctly, then the group that writes the dialog gets
a point.
9) You must need to remember students that there will be no pointing out of objects, animals,
etc. in case the phrase includes something related to it.
10) The pair who first guessed the 2 phrases will be declared as winner.

Lets have the first pair. Here we gooo the first to perform their dialogue Cassel and
Davyyyy!!!

Let the GAMEEEE BEGIN!!!

Davy: Wow! How was it, Cassel? I like going to beaches too.
Cassel: It was fun! The beach was so beautiful because of its white sand. I enjoyed watching
big waves carry people in the middle and I saw a lot of sea creatures when we went island
hopping.
Davy: That’s a nice experience,Cassel! The weather is good. I wish I could go there too.
Cassel: How about you, Davy? What did you do this weekend?
Davy: Well, I finished all my assignments during the weekend and of course, after that I also
helped with household chores.
Cassel: Lucky you! I haven’t finished mine yet.
Davy: Let me help you with that! You can come to our house later.

Teacher Mary: Students, can you guess what is the hidden phrase?
