III. Statement of This study seeks to answer the following research questions:
Purpose/Objectives 1. How do students academically engage during ODL?
2. What are the challenges in students' academic engagement during
ODL?
3. What are the actions to take in addressing the challenges in students'
academic engagement during ODL?
Research Paradigm
The researchers will conduct an online data collection. The data will be
gathered from Grade 5 students at PNU-ITL using a researcher-made
V. Methodology structured survey questionnaire.
Consent Form
The respondents will be given consent forms to sign if they are willing to
participate in the study. They should be aware that they have the option to
decline participation or withdraw at any time without affecting their
relationship with the researchers.

There is no associated conflict of interest in this research.
