DEFINITION
The injection of a small amount of medication/fluid into the dermal layer of the skin
just beneath the epidermis
PURPOSE
Indicated for diagnosing allergies and tuberculin testing.
Used to administer vaccinations and local anesthetics.

Inner aspect of the forearm
