WEEK 1

A. Answer the following questions.

1. What new ideas about mathematics did you learn?

 One of the new notions I’ve learnt about mathematics is that it’s an art. I had
never considered math to be an art; I had always considered math to be just
learning how to solve any equations, numbers, letters, and so on. It has to do with
our nature, and we can solve nature through mathematics.

2. What is about mathematics that might have changed your thoughts about it?
• Nature, that math can deal something with nature just like the topic, math can
explain the pattern of a spider web, leaves, and etc. We can organize pattern to
explain such phenomena and this is through math. Math is really everything.

3. What is useful about mathematics for humankind?

 Math improves our problem-solving abilities. It allows us to recognize patterns,
quantify relationships, and forecast the future. Math teaches us to think
analytically and improves our reasoning skills. Math is essential in today’s world.
Everyone uses mathematics in their daily life, and most of the time they are
unaware of it.

Reflection
What can you say about the topic?
 First and foremost, I am grateful to be able to study math again because we did
not have math subject in Grade 12 because I am a GAS Student in Loyola High
School. I am not actually good in math, but sometimes I do exile in every aspect
and math problems ,but I must do my best to pass this subject. What can I say on
the subject? The topic is very familiar to me because I studied it in junior high and
eleventh grade. I would say it is still some is difficult, and some of the questions
are not, but I still Surely answer it it, so I need to study more to gain a better
understanding of the subject. I studied already Fibonacci, the golden mean (phi),
fractals, and some equations, but I was still able to solve the problem by studying
and reading the module, watching YouTube videos about the topic, to explain
some of the concepts. And that's what I've learned Math i do love math every
single of my life i love math because my life is math, they give me problems i do
a solution and i answer it correctly, one by one step by step and surely we will
have our success in the future that's all.

Reflection

I learned that,
 In week 2 of mathematics in the modern world, I studied about mathematical
language, its importance, mathematical vocabulary, mathematical grammar,
and its characteristics and obstacles. I honestly read and analyzed the material
thoroughly in order to comprehend it. Particularly the distinction between
English and maths. The mathematical expression is also included. We've
already studied this on my grade 11 subject.

very quietly. In answering of this questions it’s kind like making
me proud of myself because I answer it very well. Well the topic is
very well understandable, its Logic and Logic is the study of
correct way of reasoning its like philosophy but in math. activity
B C and D is easy but I kind like it cause it because helps me with
my logical thinking. All I can say to this topic is thanks. I love
math thank you.
