Introduction
1.1. Purpose
Life insurance system has
provides automatic insurance
policy to the Indian people.
LIS includes customer, agent
and employee from verification
and legal contract
department. LIS provides
system interface to ease some of
the processes to the
customer, agent and employee.
LIS is web based application
implemented for sending
customer details through agents
to the verification department;
further verification
department will enter all the
details of the customer in to the
system and sends the
report to the legal contract
department. Legal contract
department prepare policy
contract and sends to customer
after payment has received from
the customer

Life insurance System has provides automatic insurance policy to people. LIC includes
customer, agent and CLIA from verification and legal contract department.
This project is developed as pilot project to manage Insurance Company transaction. It is a
software application maintain the records related to all the transaction occurring at the company.
Problem statement:
To design and develop a LIC Management System and capture report over maturity using hybrid
technology and Machine learning algorithm.
Objective:
 To create a application to automate the existing system of manually maintain the records
agent, policies, premium, maturity, etc.
 To collect the data from this portal.

 To classify the data.
 To apply algorithm over the data.
 To predict the present year business is positive or negative.
Modules Description:
There are 2 modules in the system, which consist of several sub modules. They are:
1. Admin
2. Agent(LIC Agent)
Admin Module:
The functionalities of Admin module are:
 Admin can view/update/delete Agent
 Admin Can view/add/update/delete policy category like Term Insurance, Child
Insurance, Endowment Insurance, Retirement Plans, etc.
 Approve/Decline Policy Request
 Apply for Insurance Policy
 List Policy Holders
 Query Management
Agent Module:
The functionalities of Agent module are:
 Create account(no approval required by admin)
 Apply for Insurance Policy
 Customer’s Policy History
 Manage Insurance Categories
 Approve/Decline Policy Request
 List Policy Holders
 Ask Queries
Literature Review:
Existing System
In the existing Life Insurance Management System, the work is done by hand. All the details for
the insurance such as cash information or age related important information was collected into
the hard copy and by chance if any of the document get missed up or get harmed then whole of
the information will be missed, resulted into the major loss for the user.
Also adding all the details manually will take a lot of time and also a lot more chances of
entering the information wrong. And also sending details from one place to another will not be
any task because in case while sending one important document from one place to another, it get
lost, then also it will proved to a great loss both for the user as well as for the organization.
Proposed System
In the proposed Life Insurance Management System, all the work will be digitalized and is done
via computers and internet. All the details regarding the insurance holder and schemes will be
added via computer and the information data is being saved in servers. Backup should be there in
case if by chance any of the information will be lost.
Time consume will be reduced and users will get any easy way to access their insurance related
information and new upcoming schemes. Users just have to click on the button and just have to
wait for some moments and they get an easy access to their information.
System Requirements:
Hardware requirements:
1. Processor: Intel Multi-Core Processor.
2. RAM: 4 GB or above.
3. Hard Disk Space: 30 GB.
4. Monitor: The output and inputs are displayed on the screen.
Software requirements:
1. Operating System: Windows XP or above.
2. Front End: HTML5, CSS 3, Django.
3. Back End: Python, SQLite3.
4. Editor: PyCharm, Subline.
Conclusion:
The project is designed and coded in such a way that any further modification that is needed in
future can be easily implemented without affecting the functionality of the LIC Management
System. The technical documentation provided in the project Synopsis helps the application
developers understand the internal architecture of the system and thus assist them in enhancing
the system.
