What's the

that can
happen

New Year's Workbook

Back in 2016, I learned that the only time we fail
is the time we fail to try.

So, that year I had one new year's resolution:

"TO FAIL"

By turning my biggest fear into my goal, I was

able to take down the only barrier that kept
me from daring to do more and get where
I wanted to go.

By attempting to make that fear a reality,

I started saying yes to those opportunities
where fear of failure was present.
I stopped overthinking everything and
started choosing action over perfection.

Did I Fail?
plenty

¿Me arrepiento?
Do I regret any?
¡De ¡Not

Not even nada!

LET’S DO THIS

What the mind

can conceive,

–Clement Stone
I DID IT!!!

PART I
First thing I want you to do is to look back
and feel proud of the achievements you've
accomplished this year.

We tend to move on from our achievements,

way too fast! And sometimes we forget
they even happened.

PART II
Once you are done, I want you to visualize
next year's "did it" list. These are the
things you would love to accomplish next.
I DID IT!!!
2021
I DID IT!!!
2022

Even though these things haven't happened, write them in past

tense as if they already did! Example: "I sold 1,000,000 books"
IT'S A MATTER
of will

Don't be afraid of death,

be afraid of an unlived life.

You don't have to live forever,

you just have to live.
–Natalie Babbitt
GOAL SETTING
IS AS important
AS GOAL
ACCOMPLISHING

Let's answer some uncomfortable

questions that may define your 2022!

Being intentional is one of the best lessons I've

learned in the last three years.
If this year you could become close to one
person, who would that be?
It could be a mentor, a friend, someone you admire, someone you
want to work with, someone you want to date, your son...

If you could try one new thing, what would it be?

If you could learn a new skill, what would you

like to learn?

If you could save enough money, what would

you use that for? How much would you need?
If you could make yourself really proud,
what would you have to do?

If you could give a very special gift to someone,

who would that be & what would you give her/him?

If you could be honest with one person,

who would that be? what would you say?

If you could start a 100-day project, what

would you like to do for 100 days?

If you could monetize one thing you love to do,

what would that be?
THE COMFORT
zone

“People of accomplishment
rarely sat back and let things
happen to them,

they went out

and happened
to things.”
–Leonardo Da Vinci

YOUR
COMFORT
ZONE
GOOD THINGS
COME TO THOSE
WHO WAIT GET
UNCOMFORTABLE

We're so afraid to fail that we give up on our

ideas before even trying.

What we don't realize is that the enemy of

success is not failure, is comfort.

What is that thing you've been putting off

because of fear of failure? Or worse yet,
because you are way too comfy?
PART I
Use this box to write down that thing you've been
wanting to do, but you haven't dared yet. If the thought of
it makes you uncomfortable, better yet :)

PART II
What is the best that can happen if you gather the
courage to do just that?

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

By focusing on the rewards, we will be encouraged to

take action and step forward into growth.
HELLO
courage

Ultimately,
what we regret
is not failure,
but the failure to act.
–Adam Grant
COURAGE IS
Choosing our own path.

Putting yourself first.

Establishing boundaries.

Pitching an idea you believe in.

Standing up for yourself.

Accepting you made a mistake.

Starting over.

Making your dreams a reality.

Not settling.

Asking for the things you deserve.

Defying the status quo.

What does courage mean to you?

For me, COURAGE is about...
HELLO
future

The day you plant

the seed is not
the day you
eat the fruit.
–Fabienne Fredickson
Dear
FUTURE SELF,
This exercise is something I do with Adam every
year on our anniversary (October 15th), and it's
our favorite thing to do.

We use the phone or camera to video tape

ourselves talking to our future-selves! You could
also do a voicenote instead.

Then, the next year we watch that video and

create a new one for the following year :)

Go to the next page to know how we do it,

so you can do the same!
LIGHTS • CAMERA • ACTION

These are the questions we answer to make sure our video

has enough meat and we don't waste our future-selves' time!

What interesting things happened this year?

Who did you meet?
Who did you spend time with?
What did you learn this year?
Where did you go? Trips, vacation time...
What did you accomplish? List them all!!!
How much money did you make this year?
How many followers you currently have? (if applies)
What are your wishes for next year?
What are your fears for next year?
Words of encouragement

You can do this with your partner, your kids, or by yourself.

Good luck!
HELLO
2022
You are
what you do,
not what you say
you'll do
–Carl Jung
Identify your
intention
for 2022

Making a list of goals, wishes, desires, and

expectations for the coming year makes it difficult
for us to get there. Sometimes there are so many
that we forget them as time goes by.

That is why I want to challenge you to choose one

intention for the new year. Yes, only one!
That intention will dictate your attitude, and
therefore it will be reflected in your achievements.
1 Imagine it’s June 2022… how would you like to FEEL? Take your
time to describe all the feelings you’d like to experience halfway
through your year.

Example: I feel at peace with how I’m handling xxx… I feel proud
of myself for xxx… I feel satisfied with my xxx…

2 Now, write down: Which things about 2021 would you

like to CHANGE?

3 Which things from 2021 would you like to KEEP?

4 Ask yourself, and write down: Which kinds of projects help me
feel the way I’d like to feel in June 2022?

5 Now: Which projects make me feel the other way around?

It’s important to identify that even though some projects/ideas
may help you grow, can also mess with your mental peace
and your balance.

6 What is the most important thing for you in 2022? (For example,
in our case, last year was having a baby, this year is remodeling
our new home)
7 What is the BEST that can happen to you in 2022? Dare to dream
BIG and name here ALL the things you’d love to happen!!) —
don’t hold yourself back or think your dreams are too big or
unrealistic. The further you aim, the more possibilities you
have of getting there. Don’t limit yourself by building a roof
over your best life.

8 Identify ONE intention, one WORD, that if you act on it, you’ll be able
to achieve the feeling you described in the first question, and more.

Example: your word could be “adventure”, “presence”, “ambition”, “clarity”,

“relationships”, “self love”… you choose what matters most this year to YOU.

In 2022 my
intention/word/attitude
