The intelligent boiler management controller for perfect operation of heating and hot water systems.
TopTronic
For perfect control of heating and hot water systems for single and multiple boiler arrangements.
State-of-the-art technology The TopTronic control system brings together Hoval's considerable experience in the field of heating & hot water control, together with a high performance microprocessor controls package. The result is a simple userfriendly operating platform that controls individual heating and hot water systems and optimises energy conservation.
Display showing date and time, boiler and DHW temperatures. Flip down access cover for programming either manually or via a PC link. Adjustable setpoint for room temperature during night time/ standby operation. Multi-functional switch with 3 individual time programmes, 3 additional operating positions and positions for hand and standby operation (with frost protection). Adjustable setpoint for room temperature during daytime operation. User operating instruction sheet.

Up to two variable temperature and one constant temperature zone can be linked to each controller. Two individual weather sensors can be added per controller. Each variable temperature zone can be weather compensated and linked to a room sensor if required. Each controller will also control a calorifier primary pump for DHW temperature regulation. Can be interfaced with all types of burner controls.

For on site, or remote plant monitoring.
Safety functions The TopTronic control has inbuilt safety functions to ensure continued safe operation of the plant at all times. These include frost protection, minimum and maximum temperature limits Comprehensive display and boiler start protection. As well as indicating the time Clearly defined operating and boiler/DHW temperatures, levels ensure system integrity the display will also show is maintained. operating conditions, burner run times (and starts) and Optional RS room fault conditions. stations Individual time The RS10 room station can programme selection be remotely connected to any Three individual time Hoval boiler fitted with a programmes can be pre-set TopTronic controller, to provide to meet the needs of the remote monitoring of boiler end-user. status and adjustment of preprogrammed settings within 1 the TopTronic controller.

Databus connections Up to two TopTronic controllers can be fitted directly into the boiler control panel on most models (see product brochures for details), enabling control of up to four variable temperature, two constant temperature and a calorifier primary circuit. These are linked together by databus connections. On the UltraGas AM and TopGas condens boilers this gives a direct link to the modulating pre-mix controls. Separate control panel Use of the databus connections will also allow up to five controllers to be linked together. With large installations the TopTronic can be mounted in a separate control panel if required.
The display normally indicates date, time and room temperature together with outdoor/system temperatures, Efficient operation parameter settings and fault Economic and environconditions. In addition the mentally friendly performance RS10 provides the facility to are at the heart of the new block programme time clock Hoval TopTronic system. settings. These include: q Reduced burner stop/start cycling to improve emissions q Optimised starting facility with start stages and selectable heating curves q Two stage or modulating burner control The RS30 room station is available to link directly to a single Hoval UltraGas or TopGas boiler only (i.e. without a TopTronic controller fitted), and provides the same features as the RS10, except that it will only control a single, directly compensated circuit.
These programmes enable the heating and hot water systems to best match the use of a facility, thus maintaining a comfortable and energy efficient environment.
