THE BENEFITS
HANDLING
ConstructaBEAM’s offer the following advantages:
Jointed members are engineered products, and as such,
• They can be manufactured in long lengths to take care should be taken in handling, transportation and

• They can be manufactured to the required length It is recommended that ConstructaBEAM’s be strapped

manufactured to cater for heavy load conditions or large
spans.
• Manufactured from seasoned timber they are
dimensionally stable, accurately sized and straight.

BRANDING
All ConstructaBEAM members should be marked with
the following information to ensure their proper
identification and use:
• Manufacturers Name
• Trademark “ConstructaBEAM”
• Timber Grade eg. CB17 for members manufactured from
Grade F17 timber.
• Intended end use eg.
Joist - for use as rafters, floor joists, hanging
beams, ceiling joists.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
ConstructaBEAM products should not be used in the
following circumstances:
• If Gang-Nail plates are damaged, cut or removed.
• In applications other than their specified end use.
• As planks.
• In locations where they may be exposed to the weather.
• In highly corrosive environments.
