Qualitative as well as quantitative analysis and interviews were conducted to


gain a deeper insight into how machine learning is used in digital marketing

Formal questionnaires were presented to the interviewees

In the second set of questions in the in-depth interviews, the intention was to
find out how respondents perceive marketing analyses and analytical tools and
how they implement these tools in digital marketing processes in their company

The in-depth interviews identified respondents’ perception regarding terms


such as big data and data management and how they perceive these terms.
The researchers were able to figure how the marketers are able to execute the
entire marketing strategy right from step one to step 9!

After the interviews, the researchers were able to come up with a
model/process to use ML in digital marketing
