A. TITLE:
Project ICEP-SBM (Improvement and Compliance to the Ensurement of 4 Principles of SBM)
B. OBJECTIVES:
Improve the level of School Based-Management of the school and practices.
C. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT:
To attain and achieve the level of practice that is aligned to the assessment tool and prescribed by the
Schools Division of Pampanga. The goal is gain another level which is level 2 and surpassed all the challenges
from the past years of maintaining level 1.

II. NARRATIVE REPORT

A. INTRODUCTION / RATIONALE
In accordance with the Department of Education's attempts to develop and implement DepEd Order
No. 12 S. DepEd Order No. 13 and 2014 S. The law passed in 2016 stipulates that schools must be
provided with the funds they need to perform out the projects, programs, and activities included in
their school improvement plan. Teachers and school administrators have the power to create their own
professional development plans that are in line with the objectives and standards of the organization
through school-based management (SBM).

The outbreak created an entirely new atmosphere for the educational system and caused a sudden
transition, but the Department of Education is continually ready to implement any preparations to
guarantee the successful implementation of the K–12 Curriculum. Therefore, SBM really improves
school performance and its strategy to increase educational opportunities by shifting a sizable amount
of decision-making power from state and district offices to specific schools.

competent work process and maintained a competing and advancing school performance.
Through the years, LHS has carried out numerous techniques and strategies which aim to create
quality educational outputs and to develop the learners’ content knowledge and skills in the best
possible level. School Head and the faculty members are enthusiastic to develop professionally and
constantly willing to learn new skills and develop new insights into pedagogy and their own practice
and explore new or advanced understandings of content and resources. Lanang High School had
been concentrated their efforts in strengthening support systems to improve educational
planning and management. The school not only practiced effective delivery of basic
education services but also improved the SBM support system through interventions of the
schools.

E. ACCOMPLISHMENT

Our ultimate task is to awaken the pupils’ creative expression and knowledge and to bring out the best
from them. Having 387 learners at the beginning of the school year challenged us being the managers
in this institution to apply the superpower we have in terms of school-based management. We cannot
assure the effectiveness of our strategies since we are still convergence and state of pandemic in the,
so we have to make a plan. We started to create a system that will lead towards the effectiveness and
efficiency of our managing and teaching endeavor We gave each other support in accomplishing the
different principles in School-Based Management. And we are unified by one goal, one mission and one
vision enclosed by the four core values. Mission: “To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to
quality, equitable culture-based and complete basic education where: Students learn in child-frienly,
gender sensitive, safe and motivating environment. Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture
every learner, administrator and staff. As stewards of Institution, ensure an enabling and supportive
environment for effective learning to happen. Family , community and other stakeholders are actively
engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long learners.”  Vision: “We dream of a Filipino
who passionately love their country and whose values and competencies enable them to realize their
full potential and contribute meaningful to building the nation. As a learner-centered public institution,
the Department of education continuously improves itself to better serve its stake holders CORE
Values: Maka-Diyos, Makakalikasan, Makatao and Makabansa Every now and then we gathered
together to talk about school activities at same time update one another on the different school.

I.LEADERSHIP and GOVERNANCE SHARED LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL and COMMUNITY

A network of leadership and governance guides the education system to achieve its shared vision,
mission and goals making them responsive and relevant to the context of diverse environments.

Shared leadership and governance was established to improve school performance and student
achievement. Stakeholders were gathered together to engage in strategic planning and organize
programs that will create a strong school, family and community relation. Students, teachers and
parents understand their respective roles and responsibilities as partners in the learning process.

II.CURRICULUM and INSTRUCTION SCHOOL REMEDIAL /INTERVENTION PROGRAM

QUALITY EDUCATION is the school’s primary objective. Continuous Improvements through staff
development will provide well-trained and fully equipped teachers who will intensify instructional

procedure and later will produce a competent individual. To live and succeed in the present world,
pupils will need for an increase focus on communication, collaboration, creativity and an emphasis on
teaching them to use technology in order to learn how to learn, solve problems and think creatively.

III.ACCOUNTABILITY and CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT COLLABORATIVELY CONDUCT OF


PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT and TECHNICAL ASSISSTANCE

PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT and TECHNICAL ASSISSTANCE were given by the new school head cof
this school. Melinda S. Dayao, HT-III. The efficiency of the operational system in terms of academic
performance of pupils was checked and evaluated. As part of Continuous improvement assistance was
given to the pupils at risk. After an evaluation a shared sense of direction through a visioning process
involving all members of the school was crafted. Everyone can align their efforts behind the vision.

IV.MANAGEMENT and RESOURCES INCREASED PARTICPATION OF STAKEHOLDERS

BAYANIHAN sa PAARALAN” One of the best characteristic of a Filipino is helping one another. To set as
a good example to the young minds of the students and other stakeholders together help the school
attain its needs. Strong partnership towards the school and community was shown by this action. As
the quality of school education has a direct impact on students’ learning outcome, school was
transparent in their operations and accountable to the community for their performance and proper
use of funds. Increased participation of stakeholders will start from their trust in the school operational
system. Willingness to help the school comes naturally since they have trust and were ensured that
quality of teaching and learning was given to the children. Lanang High School develops a strong
relation with the stakeholders.

In the end of all the hardships and challenges, Lanang High School attained its success by
announcing it SBM Level 2 by our Division SBM Validators.
