EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Pollution is one of the biggest environmental issue. The air gets unhealthier each day. Waters are

loaded with non-biodegradable trash, which leads to poisoning of marine life. That equals 4,837

of the legendary Titanic Ship. Plastic bottles, cans, leftovers, paper, foils, candy wrappers, etc.,

all contribute to the damage that humans cause to nature. It is a sad fact, though, that despite the

effort of a lot of people to save the earth from further destruction by educating people about

recycling, many still pay no attention. For some, perhaps the fact that they have not directly

experienced nature's wrath makes them not really care about the environmental issues the world

is facing. Recycling is an easy way to help conserve nature. Anyone can do it, for it isn't difficult.

You can also re-use things and turn them into something creative and useful again. You might

have heard of the slogan, "There is gold or money in garbage." Pillowrash is an environmental

consulting wants to give the people the comfort but also to save our environment. As we bring

our delight to the customers we are also giving the joy to our environment. Pillowrash wanted to

contribute significantly to the betterment of the nature.

A.1. CURRENT MARKETING SITUATION

The Pillowrash was founded on May 2019 composed of 2 businesswomen. Every organization

faces a lot of problem at present time so it became necessary for every organization that before

setting any objective carried out situation analysis in order to recognize strength, weakness,

opportunities and threat present in our organization. It mainly focus on introducing a modern

relaxing sleep session to the user, which provides affordable bed and sleep-related products to

young- middle age groups of people with concerns over technology and comfort.
A.1.2 MARKETING DESCRIPTION

In looking for “eco-friendly” alternatives, here’s what we came up with. Instead of using the

usual filling for a pillow we have come up using a junk and making it as the filling of the pillow.

However, while this may be a more natural filler how it is sourced is important. Pillowrash’s

market are composed of customers and businesses who prefer to help the environment in their

small little ways and wants to bring a better future for the next generations. The segment that

Pillowrash would be targeting are Millenials, students, and nature lover people. Millions of

people are throwing their trashes anywhere which is the main cause of flooding which could be

later on could cause risk not only just to people but also for the environment. Consumers, could

donate their trashes to Pillowrash and if they have reached the minimum weight for the trashes

there would be an equivalent gift for their donation. Pillowrash doesn’t just have a concern for

the environment but as well as to the comfort of the people, and it guarantees the consumers that

Pillowrash would produce pillows that doesn’t just save the environment but as well as to give

comfort just as everyone deserves.

Most of our favorite candies are wrapped in not-so-eco-friendly materials that make their way

into the landfill, even when dutifully placed in the recycling bin. These colorful little wrappers

are simply too difficult to recycle.

Brands such as Uratex are making their mark on the business industry and giving consumers the

best and quality made pillows. It increases the competitive pressure, a competition within brands

that specializes in producing a comfortable and strain free pillows for the consumers.

 Uratex. Uratex has been in the industry for 48 years and it remains to be the country’s

industry leader in manufacturing quality foams and mattresses that helps consumers to

have a better sleep. In over 48 years, Uratex keep on producing the best quality of foams.

 Mandaue Foam. They were able to produce a quality made pillows and has been in the

industry for 40 years now and still they are rapidly growing and making its name in the

industry.
