Mr. Jimmy Othman has worked for Veritas Interiors since the start of his professional career and has progressed successfully from
a junior designer and draughtsman up to a Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager servicing a multidisciplinary portfolio of
clients and industries. Part of his job scope is to prepare local authority submissions, tender drawing documentation and cost
estimation for clients. Site coordination works is an additional scope of services that Jimmy provides in the ID team.

 Senior Interior Designer for Petronas Learning Centre in Bangi, Selangor. The scope of works included Conceptual and Schematic
Design, Interior Design Tender Document, Tender Drawings, Site supervision, technical meetings. for Interior Design & Furnitures, Fixed
and Equipment’s. Interprets and evaluates client requirements. Develops and coordinates detailed design concepts with ability to develop
functional requirements and project-design criteria. Demonstrates understanding of the architectural design process and integration of
interior design concepts/ with ability to develop design element components. Collaborate on corporate interiors projects, including
programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedules.
Participate in selection of corporate furniture systems and specifications. Work closely with Petronas Project Manager team and other
consultant to advocate an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy; promote integrated design.
 Senior Interior Designer for TNB Balai Islam, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The scope of works included Conceptual and Schematic
Design, Interior Design Tender Document, Tender Drawings, Site supervision, technical meetings. for Interior Design & Furnitures, Fixed
and equipment. Establish creative strategy, budgets & schedules for key design projects. •Mentor and supervise production team while
challenging and introducing new and innovative methods of creative execution. Motivate and influence production team to constantly strive
for excellence in performance. Demonstrates understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts/
with ability to develop design element components. Co-ordinate with Architect, M&E Consultant, QS, AV Consultant, Project Manager,
TNB Project Team and understanding the project design and various requirements. Co-ordinate with Unit Hal Ehwal Islam TNB on the
selection of Ayat, and Decoration motif.
 Senior Interior Designer for Malaysia Embassy in New Delhi, India. Design analysis, research and preliminary design studies,
translating design concepts to reality with design presentation for Government’s approval. Design and manage to a set budget,
preparation of tender drawings and documents for Interior Design, FFE and Artworks. Managing project documentation delivery from
space planning, conceptual design, detail drawings, presentation file till the project completion with as built drawing. Co-ordinate with
Government, JKR, Main Contractor, Architect, QS, Procurement and Project Planning team, understanding the project design and various
requirements. Ensuring issued information meets regulatory requirements. Work programming and reporting on project progress to Main
Contractor, leading the team to meet the project timeline. Undertake site inspections and surveys. Ensuring level of quality is met on each
project.
