I. General Information
A. Title of Activity:
INSET on Audio and Video-Based (Multimedia Learning Format) Production of Q4 SLMs for K to 6
C. Participants:
Over 91% of the world's student population has been affected by school closures due to the
COVID-19 pandemic (UNESCO 2020). In the Philippines, the Department of Education has initiated
measures to support and strengthen delivery of instruction despite the many challenges in order to help
students deal with the uncertainties caused by the pandemic and to engage students to continue
Mountain Province has used modular learning as an Alternative Delivery Mode for the first two
quarters and none so far in all the learning areas has used blended delivery. It is for this reason that
this training is proposed to train a core group from all the schools in Bontoc District to prepare learning
Modular Distance Learning involves individualized instruction that allows learners to use Self-
Learning Modules (SLMs) in print or digital format/electronic copy, whichever is applicable in the
context of the learner, and other learning resources like Learner’s Materials, textbooks, activity sheets,
study guides and other study materials. Learners access electronic copies of learning materials on a
computer, tablet PC, or smartphone. CDs, DVDs, USB storage and computer-based applications can
