man tayo ng pinagmulan, katayuan, relihiyon, o paniniwalang politikal,

magsisipagtapos!

CLOSING REMARKS

Parents, the candidates of graduation, visitor, friends, ladies
and gentlemen, good morning/afternoon.

The task of closing a program is not that easy for the reason
that it ends the hour of being together. It also marks the parting of
each and every one of us here present today.

Though I still wanted you to stay, I know you are all now
excited to celebrate. So I will not say much. But I am hoping that
you will lend me your ears.

(Say something about your stay in school. Then unfold

the accomplishments and achievements. Emphasize that
these achievements has greatly contributed to today’s
success. Thank those who contributed to all your
achievements.)
Graduates, it is my sincere hope that you will always
remember and cherish your experiences from SCHOOL NAME. I
am confident that you have the knowledge and skills to thrive in
your lives, and that leaves me to my final piece of advice: Have and
keep a positive attitude. I know you have the knowledge, and that
will increase as you journey towards another path. You also have
the skills and will continue to develop it with the disciplines that
have been instilled in you by this great institution. I know you all
have the heart, confidence, and courage to face life’s challenges as
you build your world, brighten the lives of those around you and
give back to your communities. But if you will not have a positive
attitude, it will hinder your success.

There is this quote that says, “A bad attitude is like a flat tire.
If you don’t change it, you’ll never get anywhere.” So if you want to
go somewhere or anywhere, have a positive attitude. When you
truly have a positive attitude, you capture that energy of what can
be accomplished. You become a willing participant, you try things,
you do things, you learn every step of the way, you become action-
oriented individual, and your failures even become valuable
experiences. If you have a positive attitude, kahit madapa kayo,

And so now my dear graduates, I ask you to thoroughly

examine your attitude, to make it positive and to go forth and
make your mark on this world.

But I have one request: We are not finished with each other
today. This is not goodbye. Continue to be involved in the success
of this institution, your Alma Mater. Advise your younger friends
and siblings about the importance of education and of learning,
and remember that you are always part of the (Acronym of School
Name) family.
I wish each of you well on your future endeavors. I will
cherish the time we have spent together and will fondly remember
the old days. I will look forward to watching you excel in your
future and hope that we can stay in touch. I’m glad to have had
the opportunity to share this momentous time with you.

Again, thanks to all those, who in one way or another,

contributed in this another success of (SCHOOL NAME).

To you, my dear graduates and to the proud parents, in

behalf of the SCHOOL NAME, may the force be with you!
Congratulations, God bless, and Mabuhay kayong lahat!
