    At the end of the session the student should be able to communicate with other

    The practical exercise shall be carried out and performed individually. The student
    Condition must demonstrate the required exercise outcome according to performance
    standard and criteria within time prescribed.

    The vessel is set to arrive to her port of call (Southampton VTS). The OOW must
    now call the Southampton VTS on VHF ch. 12 and report arrival ship particulars.
    Scenario Description
    The instructor must act as the Southampton VTS and the student must act as the
    OOW.
    Ship name: MT Star Merlin
    Call Sign: 5VBA3
    GRT: 24,200 GRT
    Ship’s Particulars Draft: 9.0 m (even keel)
    Cargo: 15,000 tons VGO
    ETA: September 12 @ 16:00 LT
