TOPIC 1

PART 2: LONG TURN


Ask the candidate to talk about the topic he/she has chosen.
Describe an activity you do to keep healthy

-I do a lot of things to stay healthy such as yoga, jogging ,cycling and so on but here I
would like to talk about the cycling .
- I much prefer to go cycling in the park because I can enjoy fresh air and watch people
doing exercise, playing badminton...
- I go cycling in the morning with my brother everyday for about 30 minutes to 1 hour
in order to keep fit.
- There are many reasons why I like doing it:
Firstly, Not only is cycling good for your body it is also excellent for your mind. Also,
this activity is a good way to gain an attractive appearance and keep in good shape.The
second important reason, it is helps get away from bad habit. Unlike other forms of
exercise, cycling is quite easy to. In the future, i am going to keeping doing this to stay
healthy and maybe I will try other sports too. That is I want to say. Thanks for listening.
PART 3: TWO-WAY DISCUSSION
1. Do you have any unhealthy habits?
Well, actully I do, … I always hurry out to study in the morning and always skip
breakfast. Moreover, I spend too much time on mobile and computer, but hopefully, I
will break this habit.
2. What do you think is more important: eating healthily or doing exercise?
if I had to choose only one option, I would choose to eat healthy food, because nowadays,eating a
wide variety of healthy foods helps to keep you in good health and to protect against chronic
disease.
3. What other healthy habit(s) would you like to have? Why?
I wanna have healthy habits such as drink plenty of water or get your sleep. Because I will have
more energy. Besides it help prevent certain health conditions.
4. Is it easy in your hometown to find places to exercise?
Yes, it’s not really difficult to find places to take regular exercise in my hometown. Most of my
hometown streets are empty so you can easily go walking or cycling.
5. What are the most popular ways of keeping healthy in your country?
There are many ways to stay healthy and in my country, a majority of the youngsters prefer
working out in gym and fitness center and the old people prefer walking or jogging in the early
morning to remain healthy.
TOPIC 2:
PART 2: LONG TURN.
Describe a city, town or village you have visited
You should say:
 Where is it? & How is the weather there ?
-I have visited to a very famous pottery village in Vietnam. It’s the famous Bat Trang
pottery( patờri) village. Located on the left bank of the Red River, now in Bat Trang
commune( ‘kamiun), Gia Lam district, Hanoi.
-The climate here is considered to be the most characteristic in the world. Divided into 4
distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter alternately
 What kind of people live there
Everyone here is very friendly and kind. They are very enthusiastic to introduce us to
how to make a ceramic product.
 What visitors can see and do there
This is the first time I've seen pottery artists in person and heard the artisans talk about
the tradition of pottery making here But especially I can make my own ceramic product
as I like.
-And say if you think it is a good place to live or not, and why.
I think it’s quite a suitable place to live. It was not only an address that treasured national
values but also great spiritual values. Amid many things, it’s still the destination of human
peace. That is I want to say. Thanks for listening.

PART 3: TWO-WAY DISCUSSION


1. What are the advantages/disadvantages of living in the city?
-The benefits have many opportunities for developing science and technology. It means more
employment and more knowledge will be available.
- The disadvantage is that pollution is not caused by emissions from factories and in the long
run, you will get respiratory diseases.
2. What are the advantages/disadvantages of living in the countryside?
-There are a number of health and financial benefits. In terms of health, we enjoy fresh air.
Financially, the cost of living in rural areas is lower than in the city.
-The advantage is that job cannot be found because there aren’t many work place.
3. Do you think it is better to live in the countryside or in the city?
It depends on the individual's point of view. For young people, they like to live in the city with
many amenities, rivers and caves. For the elderly they like to live in the countryside with a fresh,
peaceful atmosphere.
4. What are the best things about your hometown?
To be honest, I like everything here. But what I like the most is the natural landscape.Because my
hometown is famous for its green forests.
5. What are the main tourist attractions in your area/ in Vietnam?
Vietnam has a lot of beautiful tourist destinations, we must mention such as Phu Quoc Island, Nha
Trang Sea, Golden Bridge in Da Nang,....
6. Which place would you most like to visit? Why?
I’d like go to Hanoi Opera House. Because I want to see the artists I love performing on stage in
person.

PART 2: LONG TURN

Talk about some envionmental issues in the place where you live.
You should say:
 What kinds of pollution are in your city
Today I’d like to tell you about a pressing environmental issue in my hometown. Water
and air pollution is a problem that I live in. Because factories are being built more and
more in my hometown, it is a cause of pollution.
 What other serious environmental problem are in your city
-One of the major problem in my hometown is soil pollution. The problem of soil
pollution will affect the quality of crops, agriculture when harvesting. Due to
câutivation activities and abuse of pestờ sai, chemicals.
-Another problem is the environmental problems. It is mainly due to litter. This comes
from some people who are poorly aware of throwing garbage on the street.
 What causes these problems
And say what you can do to solves these problems
I think human awareness isn't good. We should grow plants to prevent the pollution of
environment and encourage( in’cơrich) people to use public transportation. Besides,
those who litter should pay a heavy fine. Finally, I think the best solution is to raise

awareness and educate people to protect the environment . That is all I want to say.

PART 3: TWO-WAY DISCUSSION


1. In your opinion, what is the most serious environmental issue in the world nowadays?
Due to increasing CO2 emissions leading to post-global variability and air pollution
2. Do you think the pollution is more serious in big cities than in the countryside?
Yes. Due to the densờ population, large factories do not process waste(weist) into the
environment. This makes the pollution even worse.
3.Have you taken part in any environmental activities/events or projects? If yes, what are
they?
Yes. Last year I attended an event in my hometown that was all about nature conservation.
4. What do you and your family do every day to save the envionment?
It is to limit the use of plastic bags to reduce inorganic and recyclable garbage.

TOPIC 4
PART 2: LONG TURN: Ask the candidate to talk about the topic he/she has chosen.
Describe a memorable holiday you have had.
- Up until now, the most impressive trip I've experienced is the time we went to Cua Lo. It is one of
the most memorable experiences for my family.
- To make the trip more interesting, my father decided to drive the family car himself. It took our
family 2 hours to get there. During our visit to Cua Lo, I mostly spent my time near the beach.
-. This place was wonderful. The scenery(sinơri) here makes me feel peaceful and light.. All of these
aim to paint a beautiful landscape picture. My family sunbathed together on the white sand beach.
My brother and I played together in the sea. After swimming, my family chose a seafood restaurant.
The food here is very fresh.
- The natural views of the beach were outstanding and I loved the seafood here. So, I think it was
the best holiday for me as I spent it with my family after a long. That is I want to say. Thanks for
listening.

PART 3: TWO-WAY DISCUSSION


1. Do you like to travel? Why or why not?
Yes. Through traveling, I can discover a new land, meet up with new friend or different people,
experience another culture.
2. Can you name some famous tourist attractions in your country.
Many popular places are located along Vietnam’s long coast line like Ha Long Bay in the north.
Hoi An ancient town in the middle of the country,
an ancient trading area is extremely well preserved.
3. What’s the best place you’ve ever visited?
It's Ha Long Bay. The most attractive attractions I have here are the beaches, beautiful caves and
boat rides overlooking Ha Long Bay.
4. Which means of transport is the most convenient for you?
I think the bus is pretty convenient for me. Not only that, the cost of it is very suitable for
students like me.
5. What problems might happen when people are going on their holiday?
That day we had a huge problem that my sister got lost and luckily we found it in the hotel agent
