    Technology has changed people’s lives a lot. Its effect can be seen in every area: in their clothing styles, in
    their entertainment, in working life and so on.
    Television and the Internet didn’t use to exist in the past. Therefore, people used to create their own
    entertainment means. They used to play popular games in the evenings. Nowadays, everyone can just have a
    seat in front of the screen to watch the world very closely and have fun.
    In the house, the mother used to spend several hours doing the housework. But, today, she has so many
    electrical appliances available in the house that can do half of the work for her. She used to work so hard that
    she even used to make clothes for the whole family at home. Now, she can find all types of clothes in shops.
    However, perhaps the greatest changes can be noticed at the work. Factories used to employ hundreds of
    people to make their products. Whereas, now, one or two machines can do the task in half the time. As for
    services, clerks used to do everything by hand which used to take ages to check all files. Today, with the
    domination of technology, they put everything into disks and all their checking is left to the computer.
