Activity Worksheet 1.7: My Meaningful Exit from Senior High School

Appendix 6
Journal Reflection No. 1
My Meaningful Exit from Senior High School (Use your journal notebook for Career
Guidance.)

Senior high school would be easy if we make it easy and it would also be hard at the same
time if we make it challenging.
For me, it was a mix of fun, sad, easy and challenging all at the same time. This is the time
wherein I am about to fully decide the path that I would want to go as I am about to begin
the next chapter of my life. I had so much fun during my senior year because of the
experiences that I have gained and the accomplishments I achieved. I also felt sad as I am
about to go to a different chapter in my life and there would be chances that the people that I
have been with would also go to different places.
I also find it easy compared to the years when I first started. I have great teachers that helped
me become better and understand the importance of education. I was also challenged at the
same time because I will finally be more independent and have to choose the course that I
will be taking up in college. It was hard at first if you really do not know what you want.

HONESTY allow others to know more about you.

HARD WORK What can be said that hasn't already about working hard? For the skeptics who are quick to
point out that hard work doesn't always make sense, don't worry I agree.I believe in Intelligent
hard work. Busting your tail for something without thinking it through is a fool's game. But
working hard, with focus and desire is the key to getting ahead.

Activity Worksheet 6.4: Look Ahead

Directions: 1. Present the given scenario to the students. Ten years after graduation, you were
invited by your high school alma mater as speaker to the Commencement Exercises of the Senior
High School with the theme “Values Brought Us to Success.” Banking on your own experience
and realizations from the activities you just had, what are you going to tell the graduates? You
are given only five minutes to convey the inspiring message.

Success is the milestone achieved after struggles and perseverance. It is a vision, a

goal and a commitment for furthering your aspirations and goals in the way of a
set direction. The success demands hard work and patience. It is not granted
overnight. The following composition of Speeches on Success & Failures mention
the meaning, role and importance of success in our life. Respected teachers, my dear
class fellows and all students of campus Good Morning. Today I will talk about the success
and its importance in the life of a student. Values often bond people together and create
the social norming systems of a culture. It's important to know which values you hold so
that you can take intentional action. Studies state that values act as a guide for behavior
and become central to your identity. Success is much more than riches, power or fame.
Success is simply the feeling of satisfaction and happiness one gets from leading a
particular way of life or carrying out a particular activity. Success in any field or aspect of
life can only be achieved through serious hard work and a little bit of opportunity. Thank
you!!!!
