II. THINK ABOUT IT
Ask yourself with the following questions.
How do you feel when you see people who need help? Would it make
you feel good if you help them? Would you feel glad when others help you,
too?
READ:
God said, “Love others as you love yourself.” God wants us to care for
one another. We can show that we care by helping those who are in need.
We should help not only our families and friends. We must also help people we
do not know. God wants us to reach out to people who need our help. He
wants us to help each other because we all belong to His family.
At home, we help with the household chores. We clean the yard,
wash the dishes, take out the garbage,
dust the furniture and feed the pets.
In school, we help by keeping the
playground clean, erasing the chalkboard
for our teachers and arranging the books
on the shelf.
Helping one another helps build
a happy and harmonious family and
community.
