It is with great pride that The City School Ravi

Campus’ sports society presents the 6th edition of


the RAVI REVERA being held on 11th, 12th & 13th of
November, 2022.

Sport is often considered a popular and innocent


endeavor that engages many people all over the
world, both as amateur players and as enthusiastic
audience. The City School has always believed that
each student is blessed with special talents outside
the boundaries of the academic criteria and has
promised to provide an equal platform for young
athletes to help them showcase their talents.
This time around, we have a myriad of different sports
in which the delegates can compete in, including:

Futsal
Tug of War
Cricket
Strongman
Basketball
Gaming
Throw ball
Table Tennis
Volleyball
Ludo
Chess
Badminton
Snooker

GENERAL RULES

➢ There are no restrictions on the number of delegations


a school can register.
➢ For every sport, the referee/umpire’s decision will be

final.
➢ Before starting each match, a time of only 10 minutes
will be given before awarding walkover.

CODE OF CONDUCT

➢ The event management has full authority to expel any

delegate or delegation from the event at any time for

not complying with the event rules and code of conduct.


➢ Participants are strictly required to wear the

participant tags issued by Ravi Revera’ 22. In case any

participant loses their tag, they must report to the

Registration heads immediately, upon which a new

tag will be issued, at the cost of Pkr-250/- The

possession of tag is necessary for entering and exiting

the school premises.


➢ In case of vandalizing school property, appropriate

penalty will be charged.


➢ Use of foul language and infliction of violence towards

the Ravi Sports Fest’22 management or any delegate will


not be tolerated and will result in immediate

disqualification and expulsion.


➢ Use of any illegal items and/or intoxicants is strictly

prohibited within the school premises. Strict action will be


taken against those possessing any such items.
➢ All participants will be responsible for their own

belongings.
➢ All delegations must be accompanied by a chaperon.

FEE STRUCTURE:

Early bird registration (10th October – 1st

November )

1. Delegation fee: Rs.2000/-


2.Delegate fee for one category is: Rs. 700/-,
two categories: Rs. 900/-, more than two categories: Rs. 1200/-.

Regular Registration (2nd November – 5th

November)

3. Delegation fee: Rs.2500/-


4. Delegate fee for one category is: Rs. 900/-, two

categories: Rs. 1200/-, more than two categories: Rs. 1500/-.

GAMES RULES AND REGULATIONS​

FUTSAL (BOYS)
➢ 5 players each side + 3 substitutions allowed.
➢ Total match of 20 minutes (each half of 10 minutes).
➢ Direct red card would mean 5 minutes expulsion from

the match.
➢ If match is a draw, the result will be decided of penalties.
➢ 3 penalties each.
➢ Direct free kicks are not allowed.
➢ Back pass rule will be implemented if not the opposing

team will be awarded an indirect free kick.


➢ Walkover will be given if a team is 10 minutes late.
➢ Referee's decision will be final.

CRICKET (BOYS)

➢ 7 players each side with 3 substitutions.


➢ Tape ball will be played only.
➢ 4 over per innings.
➢ Bowling limit is 2 for 1 player and 1 for rest.
➢ Walkover will be given if a team is 10 minutes late.
Umpire's decision will be final and not questioned

BASKETBALL (BOYS & GIRLS)

➢ Teams should be in proper uniform.


➢ Nails should be trimmed.
➢ Walkover will be given if a team is 10 minutes late.
➢ Total match of 20 minutes (each half of 10 minutes).
➢ Violations such as travelling, double dribbling and back

court will be penalized by the referee.


➢ Playing side 5 players and 3 Substitutes
➢ The 3 second rule should be followed.
➢ Referee’s decision will be final.

TABLE TENNIS (BOYS & GIRLS)

➢ Singles will be played only.


➢ 3 sets, each of 10 points.
➢ All rounds will be knockout rounds
➢ The referee’s decision will be final

TUG OF WAR (BOYS & GIRLS)

➢ 8 A-side with 3 substitutes.


➢ Football shoes are not allowed (studs).
➢ Best of three rounds will take place.
➢ The decision of the referees will be final

BADMINTON ( BOYS AND GIRLS )

➢ Singles and doubles both will be played.


➢ 3 set of 15 points will be conducted.
➢ A toss will take place for the first service.
➢ The players do not change their respective service courts
until they have won a point when their side is serving.
➢ All rounds will be knockout round.

Throw Ball (Girls)

➢ 7 players a side with 3 substitutes.


➢ The ball is thrown within three seconds after being

caught, only from above the shoulder-line and only with

one hand.
➢ Jump smash is allowed.
➢ All rounds will be knockout rounds.
➢ All standard throw ball rules and regulations will apply.

Chess (BOYS & GIRLS)

Separate categories for men and women.


➢ A Swiss system tournament will be followed
➢ 20 min rapid rounds (10 min + 3 second increment to

each player).
➢ Failure to arrive at a game within time, will be considered

a walkover.
➢ Running out of time will be considered as a loss
➢ In case of a draw a 6 min bullet round will be played as a

tie breaker.

➢ No take backs are allowed once a move is played


➢ If a player touches a piece, he/she must move that piece
➢ Each move must be the played by one hand (left or right)
➢ The same hand must be used on the clock
➢ Illegal moves will have a 5 second penalty
➢ 3 repeated illegal moves will result in disqualification
➢ Threefold repetition rule will be followed
➢ Use of notes, advise or analysis through an engine is

prohibited
➢ Standard chess rules apply

Ludo (BOYS & GIRLS)

➢ There is no separate category for boys and girls.


➢ All rounds are knockout rounds.
➢ All basic ludo rules apply
➢ The game will be played with 2 dice

Volley Ball (Boys)

➢ All teams must have 6 players to play a match.


➢ 3 players in front and 3 players are back and an

additional 2 substitutes.
➢ The team will have 2 timeouts of 1 minute throughout

their match.
➢ A Player cannot hit the ball twice in succession (a block is

not considered a hit)


➢ It is legal to contact the ball with any part of a player

body.
➢ Referee’s decision will be final.

Gaming ( Girls and Boys )

FIFA 22

➢ 4-minute half length (6 minute half-length for final).


➢ Custom formation is not allowed. -No pauses during play.
➢ Injuries off.
➢ Manual keeping is off.
➢ Camera default (unless agreed to be changed by both
players)
➢ Game speed: fast
➢ Handballs off.
➢ Referee’s decision will be final and not questioned.

Tekken 7

➢ 3 rounds match
➢ Combos setting default
➢ Only default characters allowed (no unlocked versions)

SNOOKER

➢ All international snooker rules would be followed. - 6 ball

frame. the matches will be 1 on 1.


➢ One frame will decide the winner and would be allowed

to play the next match on the allotted time.


➢ Participant who loses a match will be out of the

tournament.
➢ Flukes are on.

➢ Gloves are not allowed


➢ You have to bring your own cue - Final will be best of

three.
➢ Players can admit their defeat early.
➢ If a participant fails to show up within 15 minutes after
the allotted time of his match, a walkover would be given.
➢ Referee’s decision will be final and not questioned.

Strongman

-Arm wrestling ( Boys and Girls )

➢ The shoulders of both players must be in a square

position before the match starts.


➢ A pin cannot be made if the elbow is out of the pocket.
➢ To make a winning pin you must touch your opponent to

the touch pad.


➢ A false start will be considered a foul.
➢ Intentional slip outs will be considered as fouls
➢ Three fouls will result in disqualification from the match
➢ Best of three format will be followed.
➢ Referee’s decision will be final.

Bench Press

➢ Back can be arched


➢ Feet cannot move the floor
➢ The one who does the most reps in 1 go without resting

will win
➢ 50kg including the bar max rep

Push-ups

➢ Get down on all fours, placing your hands slightly wider

than your shoulders.


➢ Straighten your arms and legs.
➢ Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the

floor.
➢ Pause, then push yourself back up.
➢ Repeat.
