1.17 Soot blowing carried out well before arrival to Pilot Station, in coordination with OOW

Self-closing valves of each bunker tank sounding pipe in E/R confirmed tightly closed (not lashed

1.20 OWS overboard valve confirmed fully shut and secured in closed position with chain / padlock

1.21 E/R machinery / system free of any oil / water leaks and are bilges made empty, clean and dry?
Drain holes on each F.O. tank spill box (save-all) tightly plugged with save-alls emptied of any

3.1 Engine stopped – changed over to ECR control

3.12 Generator capacity adjusted to suit operational requirements in coordination with the C/O

3.13 E/R skylights and funnel doors securely closed


Air conditioning inlet set to partially opened and adjusted to prevent vacuum within accommodation

Engine Logbook, Engine Bell Book, Oil Record Book and other records properly completed and

3.16 Engine watchkeeping routine adopted to “in port requirements”
